NCLEX Takers Support Thread

If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!

Good luck to all those testing soon. I'm studying and will be testing in a month or two.

It's me again HappyPill! :redpinkhe I just wanted to say THANK YOU! to ALL of you! For ALL the PRAYERS and SUPPORT you all had given me! It MEANS A LOT! Thank you for all the endless encouragement! aghhhhhhhh its tomorrow!!! aghhhhhh:no::no::no::no::no::no:

i'm trying to breathe and not really look at anything, i'm going to go see a movie and make a trip to the center to make sure i know where i am going tomorrow. i did some last min infection control precautions from the "infection control" thread thats on here. i just want it to be over, but then i want one more month to study all the little things i didnt get a chance to do and do more sata even though i hate those.

i just want this ughhhhh feeling to go away already and be normal..well as normal as can be haha.

please keep me in your prayers tonight and tomorrow and that i find the wisdom to answer these questions correctly. :saint:

I have seen my classmates in review and friends they really study hard in preparation to take the NCLEX exam, why are some pass and some failed. I've known that this person is "it" when they are students or achievers but failed, and I know a friend that she is an average and pass right away. I've known a doctor in my country that failed. I have seen a classmate of my review class who is a nun, jot down notes (really) from our instructor, but failed. I am thinking of moving my exams b/c i think this is not yet my right time... (but who knows?)

I do not believe that, the exam is specific in what it is looking for in an answer. If one understands that, then more than likely they pass the exam.

The nursing exam is quite different from anything medical, the focus is completely different. Less than 50% of those that trained out of the US pass it the first time.

85% pass the first time. And I usually see those that were C students have an easier time of passing this exam. Many of those that were A students got thru by memorizing. That is great for school but does not work with this exam. The focus of the NCLEX exam is to see if the nurse knows what to do with information that they actually learned in school and how they would apply it.

Hi all, first let me say what a blessing it is to have allnurses.com because I thought I was the only one going through the fears and anxiety of taking the NCLEX. I just graduated this month and have began studying. I don't have a date yet but, would like to join in on the prayers. I will pray for all those who took the test today and for all the future test takers. I think that this was an excellent thread! it is full of encouragement and praise which is very essential :saint:. God bless

Thanks to everone's prayers. I took NCLEX today. I did 75 questions and it took me 4 hrs. Still waiting for results......of course. But just want to tell everyone thanks. Prayer is what kept me strong during the exam and avoided me to feel :yldhdbng:this way.

If you don't feel that it is your time then don't take the test. I felt like that when I scheduled my test for Aug 5 just didn't feel right so I rescheduled for Aug 18 and passed. Sometimes that's God's way of maybe trying to tell you something.

i was so freaking shock when it suddenly stops. i coudn't walk and felt so numb all over. this is my second time, the first one was stop @ 155 and i failed.i don't know about this one, the most hardest questions i ever had. medications and select all the apply. any feedback guys? i think im going to start studying again.i want to give up:( im so tired already. huhuhuu..i hope i pass the test.
