  1. I just passed my NCLEX-RN. Here's what i did, i hope it would help. PRAY 1. 3 mos review. 2. read saunders book (cover-cover) 3. subscribed kaplan Q bank 4. know by heart inf. control and endo 5. practice Q and A (3 weeks before my exam 300Q/day) 6. subscribed NCSBN (3 weeks only) i stopped at 75 @ 2 and half hours.... GOD BLESS! AND GOOD LUCK!
  2. I'm with you, and my heart feels sorry. I remember when the time that i failed the exam, thinking of giving up, setting aside saunders book, but i got over it 2-3 weeks after and i found myself reading saunders book again, and practice Q and A. You know, i believe patience, sacrifice are keys to success, if you can't get it now do it again, DON'T GIVE UP, SOON YOU will post here, that you are already an RN. I'll check on that.....DEAL?

It's a normal feeling after the test, no matter how prepared you are. just to calm and ease your nerves, try PVT, believe, it works....
  4. I still believed knowing the disease process,(that way you can identify, which one you prioritize) know the effects/side-effects of the medications, and know the nursing process, and practice Q and A. I used Saunders book and Kaplan Q and A online.
  5. yes, it's true NCLEX is testing your knowledge to be a safe nurse. For me, to be a safe nurse is know the disease process, know nursing process, know the effects/side-effects of the medications, with that you'll never get lost... and then practice q and a bec the way they made the questions, if you are not used to it you will get lost(it's a trick). Read rationales (don't memorize) understand why the answers is like this, like that so forth...even explain it with your own words...THAT'S A SAFE NURSE, AND THAT'S NCLEX... (IN MY OWN OPNION)
  6. I am also an international student, if you don't mind , how long have you been graduated from your school of nursing? for me it really matters, bec if you graduated long time ago more than ten years, you really have to start reading books of nursing again and again...(i used Saunders, Lippincot, Mosby), but if you just graduated from a nursing school it is still fresh from your mind, the nursing subjects, process, diseases etc...you may practice Q and A 100-300 q's/day. I did kaplan online the q and a ($300.00) for 3 mos. and NCSBN ($50.00) for 3 weeks before my exam, i passed the exam, i guess it helped. PRAYERS the most important, God Bless! and Good Luck!.......
  7. Try PVT, it helps ease your anxiety... i pray you'll pass. yeah, you are right, you can't possibly know everything...and you are on the right track that you vent here in this website.. i also did the same when i failed my PN and ended with a success LPN. i aslo vented here with my RN when i failed, and ended up an RN, just now. I keep my hopes high you will achieved your dream.........
  8. Last question will not determined whether you pass or fail, it will determined on your last 60q and if that last 60q were in the above level category, you will pass, but if that last 60Q were in the below level category, you will fail. If I were you, do PVT, it helps loosen your anxiety.... God Bless! Good Luck!
  9. If the pop up, says won't tell you go to cc section, you passed. BE POSSITIVE. PVT REALLY WORKS.....
  10. thanks.... it really turns out a possitive result... praise god! i'm already an rn...:yeah:yehey me, yehey me, yehey me, hehehehehehehe.........
  11. i'm really thankful of this site, since i knew this, and that was the time i failed the rn exam, this site is my shoulder to cry on, and there are lots who responded that could help ease my pain...'til this moment that i passed the exam, and also, those who responded in advance, ( a possitive thinker) congratulates me, have faith that i passed, thank you, i really appreciate it. for the staff of this site, cont. doing this, you really have a good job, and rest assured i'll guide those who failed and give encouragement... just one thing, don't give up, me too didn't make it for the 1st, 2nd or 3rd...... time, but i didn't give up. it's prayers and determination...you too can make it, do the same thing. good luck to those test takers, believe, aim, be an rn... by the way, just hints, i studied 3 mos (straight) read saunders book (cover - cover), ordered kaplan q and a (website), ncsbn for 3 weeks, did q and a for 3 weeks only before my exam 300q's/day, understand by heart endo and inf. control. over all prayers first (you will be guided.) god bless!
  12. hey, thanks for your encouragement, i didn't seen my result yet that time i posted this with matching nerve wracking, and you said congratulations, what a possitve thinker, but anywho, praise god !, i'm already an rn.............................................. you bet:yeah:...
  13. yes, it really works, you can rely on it. i took my exam oct. 9, check pvt on the ff day, i got a message that it didn't pay me for cc section, now, i see my name on bon website with an rn followed by my rn#. praise god! yehey me, i'm already an rn:yeah:
