Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my exam yesterday 6/27/29. Computer stop at 75. This is my 21 time taking the exam. I had only 30-45 minutes left to complete my 6 hours.

Sianee, let's be honest. Would you really want somebody who needed 20-25+ attempts at taking the NCLEX to take care of your dying relative or your ill child? Not trying to be a tool...but really. That's a lot of time and money being wasted...maybe you can try for another area of healthcare? Enroll in an ADN program and just do everything over? That may make more sense than wasting more money on failed NCLEX attempts.

I'm starting to wonder if this is a legitimate account or if we're all being played like a deck of cards here lol

I took my RN NCLEX EXAM 12 times already. A lot people say that I should give up. I don't know what to do. Should I continue to take it or not. I was going to leave it alone, but I may forget everything that I learned. Please tell me what I need to do. I need ideas badly.

You made this post almost 3 years ago. In the that time you spent who knows how much $$$ on retaking tests and purchasing reviews you could have just repeated an ADN program and retook the NCLEX with a fresh mind and fresh base of knowledge. Please listen to the people in here, not make snarky "Okay. I got you" responses. People are trying to help you.

If it's someone who is playing a game and this is all fake, it's been quite a long term commitment on their part! To be perfectly honest I don't know that I wouldn't prefer it was someone playing a joke (albeit a very strange one) and there really isn't someone who has failed the NCLEX 21 times.

If this is for real it also seems to be someone whose native language isn't English and maybe isn't proficient, which would certainly create a problem in passing the exam.

One question I didn't ask but should--Sianee, was your nursing program in another country? Were you licensed in another country and are trying to be licensed here now? IOW, are you a licensed foreign-educated nurse who is struggling with English? That would put another spin on things.

English is my second language

Sianee, if you are reading and answering the test questions in much the same way you are answering questions here I believe the problem is evident. You only read one small piece of a post, one that is asking multiple or multiple-part questions...and therefore give a too short and incomplete answer.

You are missing what is said and asked of you. Doing this same pattern on the exam means certain failure.

Okay

You said in a previous post you went to a private college. What is their NCLEX pass rate?

There are some private, for-profit colleges that take your money and push you through the program, and whether the student does well or not doesn't matter.
