Hello and Congrats Nursing Graduates of Spring 2021!! ??????
I wanted to create a thread for those of us who just graduated and submitted our applications (to BreEZe and Pearson VUE) to update one another when we receive an ATT and take the NCLEX-RN! I’ve heard that California can have a lengthy wait time so I think keeping each other updated will be helpful!
I submitted my applications and Livescan (both at same time) three weeks ago on 5/19/2021, graduated on 5/22/2021, and my transcripts were sent to the BRN from my school on 6/7/2021. Still no changes to my application status on BreEZe (status: pending) and Pearson VUE (status: Registration Acknowledged).
Good luck to everyone waiting to test to get licensed for new grad RN programs!! I will keep y’all updated as my applications progress.
Same, no luck here. I spoke to someone over the phone today but he just referred me to the processing times on the website and said give it 1-2 weeks ?

The processing time was a little bit faster for me, but pretty accurate. I submitted my application on May 20 (transcripts sent around June 20) and got my ATT earlier this week even though the BRN said it was processing applications for May 1-15.
I was beginning to get pretty down about ever getting to take this test. I'll hopefully get my ATT early next week, and schedule my exam for the next week. It's been 2.5 months since graduation already, so I'm ready to get this test over with!
For the record, it took about 5 weeks from application/submission of transcripts until approval. I do wonder if calling had anything to do with speeding up the process? But, it could just be coincidence. Again, who knows if it had any effect, but I did also e-mail the BRN Chief of Licensing 2 days ago with a stern request for more information ?. The e-mail addressed I sent it to was: [email protected]. For anyone still waiting, it's worth a shot?

Yes, I know! I was surprised! The date it was updated is today, so I guess the BRN operates on weekends? ?♀️
Thank you! And yes, that waiting was truly brutal. The best advice I could give to tolerate it is to find some good distractions! But I really hope you don't have much longer to wait!! ❤️

I gave it a shot and just sent an email to the chief. I hope I hear something this week ??

Yep, others in my cohort were approved today as well!
