Hello and Congrats Nursing Graduates of Spring 2021!! ??????
I wanted to create a thread for those of us who just graduated and submitted our applications (to BreEZe and Pearson VUE) to update one another when we receive an ATT and take the NCLEX-RN! I’ve heard that California can have a lengthy wait time so I think keeping each other updated will be helpful!
I submitted my applications and Livescan (both at same time) three weeks ago on 5/19/2021, graduated on 5/22/2021, and my transcripts were sent to the BRN from my school on 6/7/2021. Still no changes to my application status on BreEZe (status: pending) and Pearson VUE (status: Registration Acknowledged).
Good luck to everyone waiting to test to get licensed for new grad RN programs!! I will keep y’all updated as my applications progress.
any luck today? I talked to someone else who had transcripts sent in July and they just got approved an hour ago
No luck … but this is the 12th week for the Mandatory Processing period so technically the BRN would be breaking CA law if they do not process my cohort by this Friday…

Yup same here, this is the 12th week too... it’s funny that they haven’t even updated their “processing times” for over 2 weeks when all they do is give generic answers to refer to their website LOL. I hope they actually follow this mandatory law and process both our cohorts by Friday
Honestly, I feel like the BRN needs a good class-action lawsuit against them so they can start implementing change (hire more staff and open more processing offices). It really is irresponsible on their behalf that they take so incredibly long to process these apps. ?

This wouldn’t even begin to cover the lost wages of all the jobs opportunities that were lost because of this…
OMG everyone I just got my approval! I checked at 1:45pm and nothing. Checked again at 2:30pm and it says "approved exam app- pending exam pass results"!
for reference my school sent transcripts on July 12th (not July 7th like I previously thought).
@StudentNurse1221 our timelines are literally identical so you will probably get yours today or tomorrow. definitely this week I think.

Hey everyone. I’ve been calling everyday and getting the same generic answers. So I decided to make the trip to Sacramento yesterday (over 8 hour drive). They were no help. Said that they have everything they need for me but I just have to wait for an evaluator to review my app. Since I graduated from CA they can’t just pull my app out of the bunch to review it. It has to be done as a cohort. Even though I’ve been waiting over 11 weeks now, they can’t do anything ?

Thanks! I heard that your ATT will come within 24-48 business hours. So since you were approved on Friday you'll probably get it tonight. It usually comes around 9-10pm. ? let me know when you get yours too!
