Hello and Congrats Nursing Graduates of Spring 2021!! ??????
I wanted to create a thread for those of us who just graduated and submitted our applications (to BreEZe and Pearson VUE) to update one another when we receive an ATT and take the NCLEX-RN! I’ve heard that California can have a lengthy wait time so I think keeping each other updated will be helpful!
I submitted my applications and Livescan (both at same time) three weeks ago on 5/19/2021, graduated on 5/22/2021, and my transcripts were sent to the BRN from my school on 6/7/2021. Still no changes to my application status on BreEZe (status: pending) and Pearson VUE (status: Registration Acknowledged).
Good luck to everyone waiting to test to get licensed for new grad RN programs!! I will keep y’all updated as my applications progress.
@StudentNurse1221 That’s awesome news for you and your cohort! ?✨ At least the BRN kept their LEGAL deadline ?. Something has to change because 3 months of waiting is waaayyy too long.
I got my ATT from Pearson at 9:50 last night! Just like @futurernmelne said ? Thank you so much for the input! I scheduled my test for this Thursday! I'm in the Los Angeles area and there was a lot of availability, especially if you're willing to travel like an hour or so. I bet there are a lot of options in the Bay Area as well.
So my timeframe:
Applied 6/3, Graduated 6/11, Transcripts sent 6/30, Approved by the BRN 7/30, ATT received 8/2, NCLEX scheduled for 8/5

Does anyone know what the availability is like is SoCal? I’m willing to travel anywhere haha. I’m trying to take my exam by Thursday latest!

Thanks! Looking at it now. In Pasadena, there's availability Wednesday at 8:00am, 9:00am, and 1:00pm. Culver City at 9:00am. And TONS of slots on Wednesday in Gardena. Depending on where you are.

My cohort and I got our approval yesterday too! Yay! Now to wait for Pearson’s email…
