Hello and Congrats Nursing Graduates of Spring 2021!! ??????
I wanted to create a thread for those of us who just graduated and submitted our applications (to BreEZe and Pearson VUE) to update one another when we receive an ATT and take the NCLEX-RN! I’ve heard that California can have a lengthy wait time so I think keeping each other updated will be helpful!
I submitted my applications and Livescan (both at same time) three weeks ago on 5/19/2021, graduated on 5/22/2021, and my transcripts were sent to the BRN from my school on 6/7/2021. Still no changes to my application status on BreEZe (status: pending) and Pearson VUE (status: Registration Acknowledged).
Good luck to everyone waiting to test to get licensed for new grad RN programs!! I will keep y’all updated as my applications progress.

And from what I’ve read online it’s pretty much a ?% solid method to see if you passed!! So Congrats! ? & literally EVERYONE feels like they failed NCLEX right after taking it ??
Thank you!! From what I’m reading, everyone is saying the good pop up was accurate! I’ll see for sure on Friday! How soon after your test did you do the trick?
and did your license number show up on the website 48 hours after?

I did the PVT about 4 hours after taking my exam & got the good pop up. Because I took my test on the Friday (7/02) before 4th of July, it didn’t process in the normal 48 hours, but took an 2 extra days. So I saw my license appear on the BRN on July 6th, four days later.
Given that you took it today on a Wednesday, I don’t see why your license would not appear by Friday at the latest. I think you might even see it pop up tomorrow night! ☺️

YAY! Dang, you took it literally the next day after getting your ATT! You go, girl! ?
I took mine this week as well and passed! Yippee!!
Check the application status page (the same one you used while you were waiting for approval)-- it showed that I passed there first (before Pearson Vue and Breeze!), so no need to pay Pearson Vue for quick results!
I took the test Monday morning, pass results showed up on that website on Tuesday evening, and my license was live on the BRN website by the early hours of the morning today (Wednesday-- ha! I couldn't sleep!).
But, you obviously passed if you got the good pop-up! Still, I know how it feels waiting for the official "Pass"!
Congratulations!

Thank you!! That’s good to hear! Maybe I’ll see my results earlier than expected! Congratulations to you too!! ??

Okay gotcha!! Thank you! I’m gonna check the PVT in a few hours again LOL. I know I’ll prob be stressing until I see the official “pass” hahah.

Congratulations friend! Wishing you the best in your career!
Update! I passed the NCLEX!! I'm officially an RN! ???
Just like @sageblue said, I saw the "passed" on the brn application status page about 30 hours after I finished my exam. Then saw my license number on the DCA website only a few hours after that! So literally I got my results about 36 hours after testing. Way quicker than expected! Didn't even need to pay for quick results. Also the pearsonvue trick was 100% accurate for me ☺️
To future new grads reading this thread, I want to share my timeline with you to hopefully offer some help and support:
Breeze app submitted: 5/14/2021
Graduated: 5/28/2021
Transcripts sent: 7/12/2021
BRN approved app: 8/2/2021
ATT received: 8/3/2021
Took NCLEX: 8/4/2021
Passed + License # posted on DCA: 8/5/2021
The wait was torturous, but don't lose hope. I had a job offer on the line that starts on 8/9, so I was very disappointed thinking it wouldn't work out. But by some sort of miracle, I got approved, got my ATT, took the NCLEX, and passed all within a few days of my start date!
Thank you again to everyone on this thread! You have all made this LONG process much more tolerable. Congratulations to everyone that has passed, and to those of you that WILL pass soon. I appreciate you all, and wish you the best of luck in your career ?
YAYYYYY!! ?????✨??? @futurernmelne I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Congratulations!! I’m so glad you got licensed just in time for your new grad start date!! Best of luck in your new career as an RN!
