  1. The processing time was a little bit faster for me, but pretty accurate. I submitted my application on May 20 (transcripts sent around June 20) and got my ATT earlier this week even though the BRN said it was processing applications for May 1-15.
  2. It depends if they allow the core science courses to be in progress during the application period. I know with my school, it had to be completed prior to application. For the fall semester, applications were due in January and notification of admission was April. Our rejection or admission was already determined before the end of the semester, so nothing in progress would apply. So in your case, if Anatomy needs to be completed before applications are due, that F is your grade for Anatomy. But every school has different policies, therefore I would contact the school’s Nursing Department about their policy.
  3. To be honest, I don’t think that any program will accept a F in Anatomy, and until you complete your next attempt for the course, that is what the nursing program will look at. My advice would be to wait until you complete Your second attempt at Anatomy and then apply. It will set you back a semester, but that’s really nothing in the grand scheme of things.
  4. I second that! It’s a really great program. I just made it through 1st semester and your instructors are all great and they want you to be successful.
  5. My application is complete except for sending in my teas score. However, I was accepted to another program for this upcoming fall semester so I’m not going to continue with the process at LA CONAH. Best of luck to all of you!
  6. I’m leaning towards not taking the success course, but I also don’t want to find out that I needed the extra time.
  7. Did any of you take the 1st semester success course, and if so, do you recommend it? I don’t want to NOT take it and then find that I really needed it.
  8. I’m with ya. I’m basically in the same situation here, with a little higher gpa and science GPA, but a lower TEAS score. I never was told that I wasn’t good enough for them, but I am happy that I pursued other options this semester. It worked out for me as well. Good luck to you at Cerritos. Keep working hard!
  9. I was notified tonight that a spot opened up for me. I was originally alternate #9, so hangs in there, guys. Do they send you a link to pay for the Kaplan resources? I couldn’t find the payment link on the orientation canvas and I just want to get everything done.
  10. If I had to guess based on the fact that you already have 68 before the TEAS, I’d say you should have no problem getting those 20 points for the TEAS. I used the mometrix book from Amazon to study. When I took the TEAS, it has been years (14+) since I took my science prerequisites (which I had to re-take for recency) and the book helped me to fine tune some things. Since you probably just took your sciences, you should be fine with a tune up.
  11. I think it really varies every semester. It can't hurt to apply! You may interview really well, too, which will put you at 84.
  12. I just submitted my application too! I wanted to apply for the Fall semester but I had to take Physiology in the winter session and the course ended the day before the application due date. There was no way my transcript would have arrived on time. I was pretty bummed. I'm hoping to move off of the alternate list at College of the Canyons for the fall, but if I don't, it can't hurt to have another really great option, right? How many points do you all have (before the interview, of course)? Im at 88, I think.
  13. To re-apply? You need to send everything again.
  14. 3 for 3 for me....as an alternate.
