I wanted to create a thread for those of us who just graduated and submitted our applications (to BreEZe and Pearson VUE) to update one another when we receive an ATT and take the NCLEX-RN! I’ve heard that California can have a lengthy wait time so I think keeping each other updated will be helpful!
I submitted my applications and Livescan (both at same time) three weeks ago on 5/19/2021, graduated on 5/22/2021, and my transcripts were sent to the BRN from my school on 6/7/2021. Still no changes to my application status on BreEZe (status: pending) and Pearson VUE (status: Registration Acknowledged).
Good luck to everyone waiting to test to get licensed for new grad RN programs!! I will keep y’all updated as my applications progress.
Hi there, wanted to bring this back since I am anxiously waiting for my ATT. No one in my cohort has reported getting their ATT yet, but I saw on here that turn around was 2-3 weeks once transcripts were submitted. Still hoping that is the case ?
Wanted to see if anyone else was around the same timeframe as me:
@JFranRN I hope you receive your ATT soon! Most people in my nursing cohort received our ATTs around the same time (within days of each other or the same day, between June 21-24). So the BRN probably hasn’t gotten to your school’s applications just yet. ??
If you live in Sacramento or could drive there, I had issues with my transcripts and heard nothing for 2 weeks, then got a letter that it can take up to 4 weeks, so a lot of my classmates and myself went to the BRN and got approved on the spot. Took NCLEX the same week and found out I passed this week. Go up there if you can took less than 10min for me to get approved

@DeltaRnThat’s awesome! Honestly I might make the trip to get this process moving. I would hate to lose out on a job offer just because of this whole BRN delay. Can I ask how their reaction was? Did they give you any problems for showing up there in person?

They are open to the public, They had no issue with people going over there, They were very helpful, the person in front of me was waiting since April and got approved while I was being attended. I think people think they are still closed so there was probably like 6 people in total, my classmates traveled from other cities and all had no issues when they went.

Also, do you mind giving some insight on what you said so they would process your application then and there? Everything I’ve called they’ve told me not to go in person because “they would just tell me the same thing that they are telling me over the phone.”

The only thing I took was my ID, other classmates took confirmation numbers of their transcripts being received, our transcripts were missing our degree, that was an issue with our school.
when I went I told them that I came to confirm that they had my transcript since I have been waiting 2 weeks since they notified me to update it. They couldn’t find it then it was referred to someone else who ended up finding it and I got approved that moment. I had previously paid Peurson so ATT came 2 days later.
My application was previously reviewed and had a transcript deficiencies but people were there for many reasons and were getting approved.
this process is ridiculous. Did you try calling them?
I did. They had nothing of value to say. Just referred me to the processing times they have posted online, and hung up on me before I had a chance to ask what the explanation is for the many instances I've heard of people getting approved far in advance of those dates. It just doesn't make sense. So frustrating.
