Hello and Congrats Nursing Graduates of Spring 2021!! ??????
I wanted to create a thread for those of us who just graduated and submitted our applications (to BreEZe and Pearson VUE) to update one another when we receive an ATT and take the NCLEX-RN! I’ve heard that California can have a lengthy wait time so I think keeping each other updated will be helpful!
I submitted my applications and Livescan (both at same time) three weeks ago on 5/19/2021, graduated on 5/22/2021, and my transcripts were sent to the BRN from my school on 6/7/2021. Still no changes to my application status on BreEZe (status: pending) and Pearson VUE (status: Registration Acknowledged).
Good luck to everyone waiting to test to get licensed for new grad RN programs!! I will keep y’all updated as my applications progress.
Wow!! That's very soon! Thank for your insight @futurernmelne And I'll share testing availability for sure ?
@DeltaRn I emailed my nursing program's department secretary who I sent my official PDF transcripts (via my school's transcript order system, not directly) when I received an automated email that my transcripts were received by the school and I was charged on my debit card. She then replied that she had received them and the nursing program director had sent them to the BRN two days prior (6/07). I would definitely email your nursing program's secretary or administrative staff! Hope this helps ?
UPDATE! ATT email was received yesterday at 9:52 pm. NCLEX-RN exam scheduled! ??
I was ecstatic to finally see my ATT email from Pearson VUE pop up in my inbox last night! It took about 35 hours to receive, so definitely within the 24-48 hour margin I had heard about ? And now I have scheduled my exam to take NCLEX-RN on Friday morning, July 2nd!! ✨? Which is great, so now I'll be extra motivated to study! I could have scheduled my exam today or tomorrow, but I figured that was a little too soon.

Thank you so much for the info! I'm glad you were able to schedule your NCLEX so soon! Good luck! You will do amazing ?
Thank you @futurernmelne ! Honestly, we made it through nursing school and that was crazy difficult. So I feel like we've been preparing for this moment for years! We've got this!! ????
Wow so frustrating. I followed up with my school to confirm everything was sent to the BRN. just found out they STILL haven’t sent our transcripts. This is week 4 after graduation ??♀️ Now I know why I haven’t gotten my ATT yet. I’m estimating they will send it by first week of July now. I hope I can get my ATT soon after...
just had to vent...?
It took my school 6 full weeks to submit transcripts after graduation! I feel your pain!
@sageblue wow ? how frustrating. Our degrees and everything were posted on the 15th. So we were all under the impression that everything was sent to the BRN a few days after that.
How long has it been since your transcripts were sent? Did you get approved by the BRN yet?
im hearing that it’s usually a 2-3 week timeframe after transcripts are received.
Transcripts were sent last week. My school instructed us to not even apply to the BRN until after they had submitted our transcripts. I'm only now finding out everyone else applied before graduation. I wonder how/if that will affect the typical 2-3 week timeline. ?♀️
I'll post updates when I get them!
And, best of luck on your NCLEX, @Ready4RN2021! You'll kill it. I'm also in SoCal, so those dates were super helpful! Good to know that I'll likely be able to schedule my exam within days of getting my ATT. ?
I’m so sorry to hear that your schools are delaying the release of transcripts, it really seems inconsiderate not to send them once they became available ?. @futurernmelne @sageblue
And THANK YOU @sageblue ! I really am excited to get it over with ? I’m glad I was able to help everyone in SoCal plan ahead by providing available test dates. ? Soon we’ll be RNs!!
UPDATE! I TOOK NCLEX-RN TODAY! AND I GOT THE "GOOD POP-UP" from Pearson VUE Trick!?????✨?
I am so glad to have finished taking the NCLEX-RN and if the PVT is correct like everyone says... I WILL OFFICIALLY BECOME AN RN!! It was definitely more challenging than I had thought. I finished at 77 questions and I honestly felt like half of my exam was Select All That Apply. I know many people say 20-25, but I felt like I had at least 30-35. I'm going to share a link that pretty accurately describes how you can prepare... (a.k.a....NCLEX Manifesto!). I'M ALSO gonna share a link for an extremely valuable NCLEX-RN Cram Sheet and Mark Klimek Study Guide....
NLCEX Study Guide & Cram Sheet:
YOU GUYS GOT THIS! Just remember to take your time (they give you more than you need), think critically and safety, and believe in yourselves, trust me: YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES! Good luck when it's your turn! ?☺️?

I heard from others you can schedule your exam as early as a couple days after your get your ATT! ? when you schedule your test, can you share what the availability is like? I'm located in Southern California as well!
