gonna take the exam monday, sept. 22 @ 0800. everyone send good vibes my way.........
Math is considered easier level, which is why I am worried. I got a couple in the beginning, but then towards the end I got another 1-2. It seems to me that is a bad sign!!
But I dont know how I could fail. I did everything I could to study. Probably about 5,000 questions, KAPLAN, 1001 on my final HESI, and my school has a 100% pass rate. If I failed, then ***!?!!
I even did the 3 week learning extension course from NCSBN (sp? ) and some of the saunder's cd questions.
I am sure that you didn't fail. You did everything that you could do to get ready (you made me feel bad when I read everything that you have done!). My school has a high pass rate too and I don't want to be that person.
Hello ffweste,
It's called determination, and I am determined to win over this NCLEX-RN exam. I received my letter today which showed progression so I am crossing my fingers for the next time. I am a very hard worker like everyone else but am determined to get this. I have started Suzanne's Plan starting Tip#1 today. Go and check it out, it's free and from what I have been reading many people have passed. I will just be able to help the next student that may be struggling with some advice. You will be fine yourself but in the beginning of my journey I did not know how to study for this exam nor did I know what tools I needed. That's why this website is GREAT!

:hngon:hang in there. the waiting is tough but you never know until you see those results. everyone thinks they failed when they come out of there. ( most do anyways ) be patient and don't assume you failed until it is official, you may get a nice suprise:)
:flwrhrts: good luck! :flwrhrts:

You did some serious preparation!! I focused on Kaplan QBank and a bit of Saunders.
I am so glad I did Kaplan QBank because the NCLEX felt like I was taking a practice QBank exam... just much harder.
Debbie - Good luck, you are right hard work and determination are key. I always work hard and made studying for NCLEX my job since graduation (graduated in Aug) and I have worked. Took last week off work to focus my energy solely on studying. I answered the q-bank - all of them, took all the question trainers, used my ole' ATIs, and answered questions from Mosby's and Saunders nclex review. I also had some Lippencott flash cards which were really handy at work or while I was on the go with the kids. Not to mention watched the Kaplan review videos....

Mine too shut off at 75 questions and I had a TON of meds and 10 - 15 SATA questions and a few "put in order" questions. I only had 1 math question (are math questions considered "high" level questions?? it seems as if they wouldn't).
I feel like I failed it but so does everyone. I am trying to keep myself busy at work for the next few days to not think about it.
