My friend just took the NCLEX this morning and it stopped at 72 questions she claims. Is this possible?

i heard that the absolute minimum was 75 questions. Is she positive it was 72?
I would guess she in not 100% sure. She is real upset right now and thinks she failed. She is a very good student and I bet she passed. Thanks for your help.

75 is the minimum. There is no way to get 72 questions. Perhaps she read the number wrong?
well i had 75 questions, and i know people that had all 200 and something. no matter how many you get, you will ALWAYS think you have failed :) lol. it is only the biggest test in your life! just tell her chin up. she will find out soon hopefully!!

Maybe the computer stopped for her to take a break and she thought that she was finished.

I curious myself to know if this is at all possible. Please keep us posted.
Just thought I would let you know that my friend did pass. Also I passed my HESI today so I am officially done with school. Now I just need to get a job and pass the NCLEX.
Thank you for following up. I have my NCLEX tomorrow and would just die, right there on the spot if that happened to me.
Congrats to you and your friend :)
