Hello gang,
I just failed the RN Nclex and studying to take it again, I`m wanting to figure out if you typically get the same topics/type of questions that you messed up. Most of my test was on cardio and diabetes insipidus/ADH. Just wondering if I need to become on expert on these two topics or spend more time on other stuff.

i took it today..
i got so many random management topics and some questions were not even relevant to patient care. i thought i was going to fail because half my test was content. the medication questions were along the lines of "i never heard of these names IN SCHOOL" let alone any review. also, they gave me multiple choice questions like that. which to go first? i laughed at some of them because i was like are you ******* kidding me? i have no clue what this is. i must've of guessed well. i did the PVT trick and got the good pop up. though people still fail. all i can say is, i knew WITHOUT A DOUBT half of the answers to some of the questions. my notes did me well! i was almost certain i passed when i walked out of the center after #75.

I watched once Kaplan videos and the lady was saying nclex be hard for everyone because computer gives more higher level questions as you answering correctly to questions.
I am not sure which states you are in but I heard that in GA state, if you check verify my license page on BON webpage , you usually see your license # if u passed the next day. Even before quick result be available
Thats true to assess ur level of critical thinking of passing nclex exam.Visit ncsbn.org for more info regarding nclex questions
i read i have to wait 24 hours at least... i did it around midnight. not a day, but i will try again in a couple of hours. i am doing this while using a different expiration date.

The good popup has and does fail. When it does, it's probably because someone is just over the "above standard" mark on something and the 2nd scoring is done (slightly different methodology apparently) and that one question is actually at or just under the pass line, so a "good PVT" becomes a fail. It's also happened the opposite way too...
Hello guys, Just wanted to update your guys. I took the boards again and this time passed it with 90 questions in 2hours. I credit my success to the AHEC review and HURST reviews. They all prepared me for the EKG, SATA and critical thinking questions. HURST REVIEW was a life saver.
