  1. I think managing your social anxiety will benefit you a lot. The right nursing job will come along, as you have more experience each year and there are so many different types of nursing areas. You will have something in common with others if you try. Don't be anxious about calling the doctors, you are only doing your job caring for the patients.
  2. Get Volunteer experience and try psychiatric or case manager type nursing jobs which will get your foot in the door. Try smaller hospitals, too. Good luck! In what part of the world do you live?
  3. awesome! nailed it!
  4. Look under your BON website to see if they have a list of absolute disciplinary rules for each situation and see if that helps. Each state is different-I'm far away
  5. Is there any way the child without Aspergers can go to the same school as the child with Aspergers ? That is a horrendous commute and then you have to get to your job!! Wow. I have heard of travel services in large cities that transport children, but then you have to have a place to send them to. Do you work nights, days or ????
  6. your Name is cheese wizz????? who's celebratin' now?
  7. What about a care plan book? Or reading in your fundamentals book where it has care plans. Hesi case studies, and Critical Thinking Cases in Nursing by Winningham. I don't mean to oversimplify, but these helped me. Hope it helps you, first semester is stressful.
  8. Check your states BON , you might not be allowed to work as a tech now. Congrats!
  9. Most of the residencies I've applied for have asked for GPA and some stop you and tell you not to apply if you answer no to having a BSN, GPA under 3.0 etc. Funny cause all my friends that are nurses always told me not to stress over grades so much - B=degree and all that.
  10. Dang! This is so frustrating!!!!!
  11. In our ICU our nurses loved the RT's and found them to be indispensable. During clinicals they taught me a lot
  12. Each time you take it you learn something from it. Don't give up!
  13. You will get a report in the mail telling you what your weak areas are. Don't give up and good luck!
