Hello! I've been going thru some of the threads regarding the pearson vue trick cause i'm having major anxiety! i took my test this morning and stopped at either 104 or 105 after 2 hours. i thought the test was crazy hard. It covered stuff i never even heard of in nursing school. A lot of it was SATA, 1 math question, and a lot of patient education questions. Anyways, i tried the pearson vue trick 12 hours after taking my test and i got a pop up that says "THE CANDIDATE CURRENTLY HAS TEST RESULTS ON HOLD. A NEW REGISTRATION CANNOT BE COMPLETED AT THIS TIME"

Does anyone know what that means???? help please!

Per your original post your results are on hold. Your BoN cannot issue a license until Pearson finishes the QA audit and releases results.

THIS IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR CLASSMATES

Did you apply for an interim permit? Licenses tend to post quicker on CABRN for those who had an interim permit.

Nope. If that was an issue, when you did the PVT you would have seen a message telling you that your test was on "hold", and that another registration couldn't be made at that time. Which makes me think of something....when you said you got "the good pop up", did you mean it said you had "an open registration, and another couldn't be made at this time".....or did it use the words "on hold"?

There is a big difference there...want to be sure we're talking about the same thing.

If there WAS a hold placed, it takes upwards of 72 hours to clear until results can be released to any BoN. What, exactly, did your pop up say?

From your post, that was not the good-pop. Has it changed since being on HOLD?

Ok, so originally, within the first 24 hours, when I did the PVT trick it said "the candidate currently has test results on hold. a new registration can not be made at this time." The next morning, 24 hours after my test, I got the good pop up where it said "our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time". Unfortunately California does not do the quick results, however 48 hours after you take your test, your name and license number usually shows up on the breEZE website. Mine however still has not shown up which is now causing some anxiety again. Im praying that I passed and I don't think I'll get relief until I see my name on breEZe or an official letter.

Don't worry about other people's licenses. I was the same way too. Although my state does do quick results. Anyway, some of my friends got theirs the next day but I got mind like 3 days after. I think it just depends on the system. But I am sure you passed because of the good pop-up. WOO! :D

i am now on the same boat as OP. i took my test on the 16th of April 2015, Thursday. i chose this thread as it is the most current being year 2015. i have tried registering again after 24 hours and also at around 30ish hours post nclexRN. i am still not convinced that i passed cause i though my performance was lackluster after testing. i have only tried the PVT twice and i dont wanna keep rechecking it. i put a valid CC info with a wrong exp date. As of now, it has been approx 72 hours after my test. does the PVT trick apply over the weekends?? i mean, i did take my test on thursday and its sunday now here in california and still cant fine any positive signs that i passed or not. all my close friends got theirs at 48 hours and the wait is killing me on this thing. im super sad. OP how long did it take for you to see your name up on breeze?

by the way after i placed my CC card info after the 24th and 30th ish hours it gave me this "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam another registration cannot be made at this time" i have only gotten it twice as mentioned above. never checked again as of today.

You passed!!!! Congrats! Same thing happened to me. I took my test on Monday and was super depressed on Wednesday when my name didn't show up on breEZe and all my other friends did. Sure enough though, on Thursday my number was there. Easier said than done, but be patient. I went crazy last week waiting but it was all worth it once I saw registered nurse under my name.

thank you for your insight nursekrs143. i want to wait until its final and until its confirmed by breeze but thank you for sharing your opinion. did you take yours in cali or from a different state?
