It was my first try today, the computer shut off at 75 and my heart stopped at that moment! To be honest, there are only several questions I was quite sure of. How sad is that after working on it over 5 months!!!:angryfire I had a lot priority questions, some "select all" questions and several drugs. The questions I had in the exam were totally differenct from Saunders and I have no idea what the correct answer was, I had to take a rational guess most of the time!! Oh, God, I feel like I knew nothing about nursing right now. As a matter of fact, I got about 80% correct answers on Saunders CD and felt pretty good about myselft before the exam. This very exam takes away all my pride and confidence. I am so anxious and fruaftrated to see my result. Oh, by the way, I did get the same question twice during the exam and I just found out I got the wrong answers after checking my reviewing book. Dose this mean anything? Is there anyone in the exam who gets the same question twice like me??

Just wanted to wish you good luck! Everyone feels a little rattled after the NCLEX. It's a hard test. The NCSBN ("the NCLEX people") says that occasionally people get the same question or a similar question multiple times. It doesn't mean anything. Remember that some of the questions are just trial questions and do not count, while some are "real."

I did get a few repeat questions. I looked at it like they found my weakness. Now while taking the test I thought to myself do I chose the SAME answer OR maybe they are giving me a second chance? So I think on some I went with the same answer and then If I saw it "again" I changed......not good advice by any means since I didnt pass....
I am going to take my sweet ole time and really give it my best (not that I didnt do that before..... )......
I am sure you passed if it shut off at 75.............that is what all my friends got and most passed!!!
THINK POSITIVE & let us all know when you PASS

I felt the same way you did last week!! I took the NCLEX-PN. Shut off at 85, I had a ton of priority and select all that apply, all the pharm questions were on drugs that i never heard of!! I felt like such a loser when I walked out of the exam room! I cried the whole way home because I felt like I guessed at almost all of the questions!! I found out 2 days later that I passed. Don't give up hope!! It sounds good to me and I'm sure you will be back to tell us in a few days that you passed too!!

Priority questions are a very good thing. And you will not see the same types of questions that you saw in the Saunder's CD.

congrats, :balloons:
they say most likely if it shuts off at 75 and it felt like the hardest test you ever took, that most likely you passed.
