I finally decided to make an account after coming to this site almost everyday, for the past several weeks, to research nursing topics. It has helped me greatly and Thank you all for you contributions!
I recently graduated from an ADN program and I am soooo happy and grateful that I was actually able to complete it because it was the MOST challenging experience I have EVER gone through in my entire life. I have to admit, it has been extremely hard to get back to the studying for the NCLEX. It's like my brain rejects the information every time I try to pick up a book and do questions... my brain says: "oh, no not you again." hahaha.... ugh! Never the less, I know I have to prepare for this beast which brings me to this post. I was thinking... Why not challenge some of you who plan on taking the NCLEX late? March/early April 2011? What do you guys think? Maybe we can message each other here by the end of the day and share whether or not you met your daily goal. For example, I have 2 books (lacharity and Davis Q&A) and I plan on doing 100-150 questions a day until my test date. Even if I do 20-25 in increments throughout the day, the point is to do them daily. Then I will come here and share how my day went. That way we can motivate each other through this excruciating journey.
Whaddayasay huh?!?.... I plan on starting this Sunday... Let me know if any of you guys are interested, I would love to motivate and be motivated by you guys... We need to get together and tame this beast! Lets do this!!!!

Ann, I took it today at 9 am and was finished at 12:30. The exam slammed me with 10 SATA straight. Then it went to single answer questions. Then 5 SATA, then a math question (20 minutes to do), 5 medication questions, all single question and ended with 5 SATA questions.
It was the most toughest test ever! More difficult then the first time around back in January. But I prayed and prayed and I did it with GOD's grace and blessings. He is my one true life above all else. I will definitely pray for those who are and will be taking the NCLEX soon! ^_^
i am so happy for you .. i ended with sata too.. hehehehe at least you have done your best and you have proven it. my congratulations..... GOD IS EXCELLENT..

and to the rest of the group thank you too and il keep praying for all of us to our future endeavors! i have been following all of your post! everyone has been supportive to each other, sharing their experiences and stories, giving tips and advices, hand in their prayers.. even if we barely know each other i really felt we grown into a wonderful community. thanks allnurses.com and the to all wonderful people ( that's you :pntlft:).. you guys will always be part of my NCLEX experience! and hopefully will not stop here.. this is just the beginning of our new journey as a Registered nurses!
Nclex gives us the initials after our names,the license number.. but nothing can give you the wisdom you earned, the hard work we put into it, the experiences we learned, the knowledge we need to keep, the friends we meet along and the humility to be a service to others....
okay guys il stop now. I am just so happy. preparing for Nclex can be a struggle but truly worth it in the end with all the flying butterflies and birds and the trees and the pot of gold in the end of the rainbow!Once you pass your golden! the feeling is priceless! forgive me im just so happy! :) nclex has made me insanely sane! huh?!?
