Today I stood before the Board of Nursing because I took too long to test.I was told I needed to enroll in an Nclex Review Course and not a Comprehensive Review and score at least a 95% to 99% on their test because I will not pass the actual Nclex due to the change in the Test Plan. That I needed to get the green light from them stating or showing my score and saying I was ready to take the Nclex Exam as were alot of others told the same thing that stood before them also. My question is what Nclex Review Couse actually gives you some type of documentation saying that or showing that you are well ready to take the test. I have to have this and provide it to the Board before I am able to test.
Please Help!!!

I've never heard a board ask for that before. Kaplan has a readiness test if that helps. Although it too is also expensive but a very good review.

Kaplan has been integrated into our program and I know they give us the "green light" to test, but I don't know if they provide documentation or not
I think Kaplan, Hurst and ATI are the main NCLEX prep companies, I would contact them to see what information you can get instead of relying on 2nd hand knowledge

Dont know much about Hurst or Kaplan (they are NCLEX preping courses) but I do know of atitutoring. You work with a real tutor over the internet and take a lot of practice tests, do worksheets, etc and if they feel as if you are ready, they will give you the green light to take nclex

What state are you in?
Thank you all for your responses I will be calling checking them all. @2013rn2BScorpio Im in Indiana..I know the Test is extremly hard know and from what I saw yesterday from the board they were not play no one was given any slack alot of ppl were told they were not going to pass including my self which I thought was very mean and hursh to say to someone.I felt that alot of the ppl that were there confidence and hope was just being crushed. The board did mention Kaplan and ATI so I definately will be calling those I have did the Hurst But not sure if they provide that kind of documentation and I didn't even get close to those %'s.

ATI... I think the Board of nursing would definately approve this program. It gives the opportunity to get the green light and tells you the probablility of you passing the NCLEX

I know that HURST will not give you a letter for the board. My school is offereing HURST this week and I was going to sign up for it, but the wont give me a letter so whats the point of paying money for that class when it wont help me show the board I can retest. I failed my NCLEX 10/12/13 for the 3rd time and now have to take a refresher class. I called the board and was told that Kaplan, ATI, and NCSBN will also. Kaplan I have taken 2 times and dont think it helped. ATI is expensive $450 and dont have that to give right now. I searched the NCSBN and they offer a class that you decide on a 3,5,8,15 week class. I am going to call the board tomorrow to ask if they will accpet NCSBN because a 3week class is $50, and the 8 week class if $100 which I can do. I hope this helps, cause I am in the same boat as you! If you find anything else out please post!
Thanks CeceStar5 I have contacted Ati and they told me they do provide that information I would just have to inform the coach that would be assigned to me when I take the course.
