NCLEX results in California

I am taking the NCLEX December 1. How long has it taken other nurses to receive their results from the CA Board of Nursing?

Is it true that you will have to get the NCLEX all over again if within three years you have not issued the SSS# to the California State Board of Nursing? How can you rectify the situation?

this is an old thread but NO you do not have to retake the exam if not issued a SSN to CA within 3 years. It is your file that is cancelled after 3 years if you do not provide a SSN and all you need to do is reapply. Please check out the international forum as this has been answered several times

Good Day guys! I took the exam 2 weeks ago and i'm really stressed waiting for the results.If your name does'nt appear in the license verification system does it mean you didnt pass the exam? i havent receive any results by mail.

OMG! i just took my NCLex last week (april 11) its been one week now and still havent seen a small envelope in my mail..

aaaahhhhhh..this is so agonizing!! aaaahhh..this is killing me softly! please pray for me. i really really want to pass.

If you do not have a SSN#, then you will not see your name on their website until you give them one. No license is issued without it. So if you do not have one, you will be waiting about four weeks for a letter to arrive via snail mail with your results.

There is nothing that you can do but wait, and average wait time if you have a SSN# is ten days and can take up to a month.

Letters are not immediately sent out and again, average wait time is ten days to see your name on their website if you are testing for the RN exam and have a SSN#.

i took my test on the 14th, exactly one week from now. my name is not on the bon web. this is my third time taking the test. for the first two times i got 75 questions and was near passing on all areas except pharm. this time i lost track of numbers and i got over 120 questions. i got alot of pariority and med questions.

after taking the test for the third time now, i am pretty sure i failed again. because i should have seen my name on the web by now. you won't get an envelope this soon, it usually takes about 3-4wks till you get your envelope. but eveyone i know that has passed has seen their results on the web withing 2-3 days.

by the way don't call the bon they wont give you any imfo. they kept telling me that they havn't processed mine and that is why its taking so long. don't beleive that. best of luck to everyone. i hope we all pass.

My wife took it on Apr 8th, and still nothing on the BON.

I guess she failed :( good thing she doesn't know yet, still waiting for the envelope.

Sucks that she did well in the Kaplan readiness test.

hey guyz:( i think you're lucky enough to be just waiting for almost a week. because now, im waiting for my result for 1month and a week already:cry: its driving me crazy! because i knew someone who took the CA NCLEX last march 25 and got the result last week. he didnt pass:crying2: but me, i took the same test last march 19 and still don't have the result. i've been checking it in the post office everyday and still no mail for me:scrying: does anyone know what might went wrong? is it really that long? i was really expecting 3wks.:o please help me:Crash:

have you tried calling the bon? is your transcript on file and is all your paper work processed? like i said they won't give you any information over the phone unless your paperwork is not done. they kept telling me that they have all my paperwork but they havn't processed my exam which was a lie. they just say that because they get so many people calling them asking about their exams.

They do not even send the letter out until 2 1/2 weeks after the exam is written, it is usually a month until the letter gets there.

Have never seen anyone get the letter in Manila in three weeks, just does not work that way with CA.
