NCLEX results in California

Does anyone know if it's a good sign the computer shuts down at 100? Been taking the test for 3 times,all 75, and fourth try is 100.

Number of questions has no bearing on the results. :wink2:

Hi -
I really know how you feel!!! I took my NCLEX 2 days ago and I'm so worried. This is my 2nd time taking it AND I'm so scared. I try to keep myself busy but sometimes, I just CANT stop thinking about the results. My boyfriend had to get his license (not in nursing) and he was told the results RIGHT AFTER THE TEST.
I really wish that's how nursing results were like but so well..........good luck.

You can have anywhere from 4 days to 4 weeks. Dependent on whether or not they have complete file on you. The earliest that you will find or hear anything will be directly on the CA BRN website, under license verification.

If you do not see anything by two weeks, then call them to make sure that your file is complete. It can be something as little as missing a picture, do not receiving the Live Scan report, or your school never sent the transcripts. CA will permit a new grad to take the exam provided that their name was on a list that the school provided to them. But they will not issue you the license until they have the transcripts, no matter how long that it takes.
