I would like to share that I got a 7 in my speaking test! I passed it, if you believe in yourself and your confident on the day of the exam, and it didn't turned out the way it was supposed to be... then gamble to have a recheck.... Thank God!! Praie his name!

Did they refund what you paid for since your test score increased? a lot of people told me not to go for a recheck since it will be a waste of time and money. i took it with the British Council. What do you think guys? Can miracle happen? I'm so tired of reviewing and retaking it

reetings! I took the IELTS last Decemeber 6, 2008. It was my second time taking the exam and when I received the scores it was 8.5 for listening, 8 for reading 6.5 for writing and speaking. I felt confident after the interview was finished and I was happy because I had a nice interviewer, he was attentive in listening to you. Howerver, when I got the results I only got 6.5 in speaking. i felt very depressed and even cried. Now, I'm planning to ask the British council to recheck my speaking test. Do you recoomend it? ( I know I have to pay but I want to have a peace of mind that I really deserve a 6.5 but in my heart I know I can get a 7). Do you thinnk there is a chance that my score will be higher by 0.5? Thank.. I want to hear your opinion about this matter. God Bless

Hey, they went here in Iloilo and I think they are pretty good. Did you ask about the specific details? How much will you pay if you back out and how long is the processing time?

Suzanne, do you think that I should secure a copy of my NCLEX-RN result in California? because what they sent to me is just a letter stating that I passed the NCLEX-RN and I should get a SSN and submit it to them? Do you think I should request my test result in BRN with a $10 fee? Thank you

yup, I am thinking about that.. I will first establish myself in the hospital. I've been dependent for about a year now... huhuhuhu... Do you have any idea if I can be petitioned if i don't have a visa Screen? When will it be needed?

Can I process my Visa Screen later? I mean can I be petitioned by my employer even if I have no Visa Screen at hand. but I am planning to take it 2 months from now..

greetings fellow nurses! i recently passed my nclex-rn examination last june 2008! now i applied at a tertiary hospial here in the philippines and luckily i passed and i will begin orientation this august 11, 2008. however, i have this great problem and i am so confused right now! i would like to take my ielts so that i can have my visa screen as soon as possible and so that the petitioning process will be faster if i have a visa screen, am i right? will having a visa screen make the packet 1 and 2 faster? or it won't. however, the day of the ielts exam will fall on the 21 of august which is orientation day. will i prioritize my ielts or will i start to work as a nurse orientee ? can my employer petition me without a visa screen? or should i secure it now, as early as possible? i don't have an employer and i am still searching for one! please help me decide.. i am so confused... thank you and your response will be highly appreciated! god bless you all!

it's a great relief knowing that you were able to have a license in vermont. i am also a filipino and graduated this march 2007. i applied for california and waiting for my eligibility. i am so worried because they said that if 3 years has lapsed and you were not able to submit your ssn you need to retake nclex? or you can reapply and pay the necessary fees but not take nclex exam again... which is which? hehehe i would like to ask if you have an agency here in the philippines? thank you so much!!! what can you advise for my application in california? do you recommend for me to take cg because it doesn't expire? thank you so much fruity!!

Suzanne... What if I am planning to work in California and have no plans of geting to other state to work? which is easier applying in the California Board of nursing or applying NCLEX in NY and then let them endorse you to California? Thank you so much!!!

hi to all the SuperModerators on this thread.. i have read the primers on top of this thread..I also have read that you do not really advise California as initial licensure for foreign graduates, even I know this for a fact and have presented my mother with the facts, she still pushes me to go to California. Well, anyways,may I ask (to all who posts in this thread) how did you go about in preparing your requirements to be passed to CABON?.. (1)Like with the Transcripts with RLE and Diploma, is it really certified true copy or the original copy with the school seal?.. (2)and is the Nursing Program Verification Form really included as one of the requirements?..[or it does not apply to all applicants] (3)May I please have a copy of the written explanation you sent to CABON, so I may have a guide in writing? ??? [PLEASE post it with your message] (4) For the confirmation card, where can I get the First Class U.S. Postage Stamp? (5) For the fingerprint card, I have the Aliases and the Social Security No. blank, which is more appropriate for me to write, NONE or NOT APPLICABLE(N/A)?..And with the race, since only one letter fits the small box, what information should I print? [i am from the Philippines, by the way.] (6)And lastly, how did you deal with the bank draft?..What steps did you take?..
