Hi everyone!!
I took the NCLEX PN yesterday and took me all the way to 205. I feel like I screwed in the tests and I am starting to review again for a retake though I have not received the results yet. I started the day worrying about my test results and trying to find relief to my anxiety...i found the this forum helpful. I have read all the threads and forums which are really uplifts my morale and spirit.. i have understand that the number of items is not an indicator of pass or fail...my perception have change though worried that while i was reading the threads, i can see myself in them worried about the test and finding out at the end of the day that they've passed... i hope that i get the same ending...
Wish myself and everyone well!

There is no way to know until you get your results so just hang in there. Good luck!

Well, for the moment, I would take a break, at least until you obtain your results. The mind can go on overdrive and you really worked yourself to a momentum, studying for the exam, and trying to de-stress your mind after the trauma of taking that exam. I know that sometimes, it is therapeutic to study again, to try and decrease anxiety for some people. But what that can also do is have you re-live the experience over and over again, questioning whether or not you answered such and such question correctly, and increase the stress.
For what it is worth, most people do pass the first time around. There is no indicator what your fate is, but remember those odds, until you either make the call or get the envelope. Do you live in California, or another state that does not participate in Quick Results? If so, then, I REALLY feel your pain. Do something nice for yourself...you deserve it, and best of luck!

Whatever happens it is behind you. I think it is a good thing that you are trying to refocus on the future. If you passed, your reviewing the work will only help you. Wishing you well sister pn nurse:up:
Stay encouraged!

I know it hard waiting for the results. I know have after the computer stop asking me questions (184), I was scared, all my anixety just came to the surface. I found at the next day that I had passed, and know I am a LPN. Just try to breath, and do something to take your mind of the test. I watch movies, and went to work the next day so I can drive myself crazy be keeping checking the internet. , :)

how i wish i pass the test also. im still waiting for the result. it stopped @ 170 i think and i felt i failed. i tried to think positive but it wont help me to relieved my anxiety. nwayz, congrats to u.
My class is 70 students. Half of us took the LPN this summer, before starting block three. After each one of us would take the test (because we all took it differnt day and times) we call each other. We all said the same things we failed, we felt horrible about the test. There no way I passes. And We all passed. So hang in there. I sure you did great! :wink2:

Hi everyone,
I've been reading the posts for awhile now and am noticing that most people really do pass the NCLEX-PN. I'm taking my this Wednesday the 1st of Oct. I'm really nervous.
2 of my classmates both had 85 questions and passed. They both said the test was way out there....really can't study for it. Got med questions they had never heard of.
I think for the most part, you can pass it. You get 15 questions that aren't scored and only had to have half the questions right.
Anyway, I need everyone to pray that I pass, because I need to move on the a new job and can't handle waiting another 45 days to re-test.
Thanks!
