  1. I received an email that stated I was accepted after my Micro from Denver was accepted. Are you in KS? Where does your friend that is beginning in my class live?
  2. Hi there, I am starting the program Jan. 2012. I know of 2 nurses that completed this program already and loved it. I was told that you can probably work while doing clinicals. I will be travelling from Denver every week to attend clinicals. If anyone knows someone that is doing the program as well and wants to carpool, please let me know. Hope that helps.
  3. I'm an LPN here in Denver, with 3 years experience. I make $23.00 an hour. I have also lived in Southern CA, but didn't work as a nurse. My pay is on the high end based on where I work. I work in the clinic, not the hospital. I know that RN's in my company start at $33.00 p/h. Don't really know what the pay is in Ft. Collins. Hope that helps.
  4. Well, I can tell you here in Colorado, LPN's are used quite a bit. I work in a clinic where there are always LPN postings. Actually, the RN's don't seem to have as much clinic experience for some reason. Not to bash RN's, but the LPN's run the show and do all the work. Hope that helps.
  5. I passed with 85 questions !!
  6. I took NCLEX 10/1, stopped at 85 questions, thought I bombed and found out Friday that I passed! Wow! Didn't see that coming. The test was way off from what I thought it would be.
  7. OMG! I just took my LPN NCLEX this morning. I know I did horrible. Didn't have a clue for the most part, seemed like there could have been more than 1 answer that is right. I almost started crying when I left. It shut off at 85 for me as well, but I think it's because I keep getting everything wrong. I'll find out for sure on Friday. Anyone else feel like that and passed?
  8. Thanks Joanthony09. I printed out your review. I also have Saunders, but I'm not retaining all the info. Seems to be alot of info. My NCLEX in this Wednesday. If I pass, I owe some of the credit to you with your great outline of review material. Wish me luck.... ugh Anna-Maria
  9. Hi everyone, I've been reading the posts for awhile now and am noticing that most people really do pass the NCLEX-PN. I'm taking my this Wednesday the 1st of Oct. I'm really nervous. 2 of my classmates both had 85 questions and passed. They both said the test was way out there....really can't study for it. Got med questions they had never heard of. I think for the most part, you can pass it. You get 15 questions that aren't scored and only had to have half the questions right. Anyway, I need everyone to pray that I pass, because I need to move on the a new job and can't handle waiting another 45 days to re-test. Thanks! anna-maria
  10. Thanks Eric! I've reviewed Kaplan's tips, which I found very helpful. Helps you eliminate the wrong answer and dissect the question. I think I'm going to purchase the Saunders book and review that. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Thanks again!
  11. Hi there, So I'm starting to study for the NCLEX-PN and was wondering what Suzanne's plan is? Also, which Saunders book/resource is helpful? My school provided us with ATI, but not sure if that is a good study program. Having really started it, just reading the review books right now. Any thoughts?
