  1. Hi...I took Nclex-PN 3 times in Minneapolis, but didnot pass. I'm so scared to take it again. I don't know if I'm ever going to pass. This is killing me. I'm planning to take it again by the end of June. I was wondering if anyone of you know if there is a place where I can go and take a Nclex-PN review class(not online). If I sit and study by myself, I don't know what mistakes I'm making. I don't even know if my studying strategy is correct. Thought that if I go and attend a class it would be helpful. Please help.
  2. Hi....I took the Nclex-PN 3 times in Minneapolis, but didnot pass. Went through Saunders,Kaplan,Lippincott and Mosby's. Every time I take the test looks like I've seen that question in one of these books for sure, but its really hard to remember all of them. If I have a really good memory in remembering each question in these books I know that I would definitely pass. I usually take more than a minute to answer one question. So does that effect my passing/the number of questions I receive?? I would really like to know how much time can we spend on one question...please help. Advice of any type is appreciated... thanks.
  3. Brian...I understand that everyone studying my post doesn't have to reply, but I was confused if I should type my concerns under Minnesota nurses or not. That's it. I din't mean to hurt anyone. Thanks for the info though...
  4. I'm surprised that there isn't anyone here in Minnesota who can help me.....I thought that if I post my concerns here under Minnesota nurses page I might have someone out there who is going through the same situation and can help me. But to my surprise not even a single person read my post here. I guess I must post mine only under forums...
  5. Yup...on my first test I remember getting atleast 15-18 questions. And on the 2nd one I got 13. Med questions was where I had difficulty in, so I remember having that many number very well. I guess it differs from test to test....
  6. ThankQ....for the info. The suffix tips that you told is of great help. I'll try and see how it'll work.
  7. There are sooooo......many drugs in the med book. Remembering the side effects, adverse effects and action of all the meds is really difficult. How should I answer the med questions that are given on the NCLEX-PN. I'm really good with the math but only when any medication question pops up, that's when my heart stops beating for a minute and my brain goes not again...... How should I solve this problem?? Should I prepare flash cards and write each med, the effects and action of it and learn or how?? These medications make me so sick. And that too 3/4th of the medications shown on the test are never heard of. God.....I really want to get over with this test and lead a happy life because, my life has been the same since a year and this is killing me.....I want to finish this and have a fresh start.
  8. ThankQ so much......
  9. I'm so happy for those that passed the NCLEX. I wish I was in their shoes. I live in Minneapolis. I graduated in Dec 2006. I took the NCLEX exam twice but failed. This made me more depressing. The first time I got 192 questions, but the second time, I got only 85 questions. I thought that I was gonna pass for sure the second time, but to my surprise I didnot. This is killing me. I really want to pass the test. I went thru Mosby's, Kaplan, Saunders & Lippincott books but never worked much on the cd's. So this time I thought that I should work more on the Cd, so I'm taking one test a day. I got my work permit recently but now I'm in a position where I cannot do anything until I pass. I really don't like working as a CNA. Can anyone please tell me any jobs that I can do without having a license. Also let me know if there are any LPN jobs in Minnesota that I can do without taking care of patients...for example like in a office typing patient data, etc... Also give me suggestions/advices how to study for the test. I feel like a big burden on my shoulders. I'm anxiously waiting for the day of relief. Honestly at one point I felt like God was not helping me at all. I don't know what to thing....this is killing me and making me very sad. I want to be happy and enjoy life like my friends do. Also can you tell me the salary for LPN's in Minnesota if you have any clue. Some of my friends earn like 16$/hr. I feel bad when I think of them beacuse, V all studied in the same school and almost everyone passed the 1st time. I guess I'm the only one in this position. Please help me guys....please pray for me.....I don't want to spend my time sitting idle and getting depressed. I want to work like my friends . I want to get busy too. I'm married for 4 years and didnot plan too have kids because of my studies. Now it's becoming too late. I really want to pass for sure this time and have kids. The only reason I thought was, if I have kids, I cannot concentrate on my studies. I guess u guys know what I'm going thru.....kindly help!!! I'm really bad with med questions. I guess out of 10 I might answer only one /two. I know this very bad, but I can't help it out with meds. I'm very very verrryyy weak at byhearting/remembering them. Please help me with tips that I can use towards remembering these horrible med questions.

  13. Hi....I'm planning to retake my Nclex-PN. For this I have to fill out a request to retake the exam. In that form under Section D-Affidavit Section, it says "to be signed and sworn in the presence of a notary public". I really didnot understand this part. Those who already filled this, please help me with this.I'm planning to take my test next month. Hope I pass this time by god's grace.
  14. I'm from Minneapolis and I was wondering like how many times can u appear for the Nclex-PN. I am so scared ....I really want to pass this time. This is making me so sick. Please pray for me.
  15. Thankq so much guys for the quick responses. I'll do my best this time. I have an other question: how many times can u take the NCLEX-PN test or is there a limit for taking it?? And regarding the meds, I'm so worried b'coz I'm nil coming to its knowledge. How do I know about the meds that v get on the test. Going thru the whole drug book is soooo....difficult. Please lemme know. And can I do RN pre-reqs eventhough I didnot pass the test??
