Hey all, I took my NCLEX-PN on Monday and shut off at 85 questions. Now I've read numerous posts about the odds of passing at 85 BUT.................... I am currently enrolled in a LPN to RN accelerated program that I will have to withdraw from if I don't pass! I graduated with honors from LPN school and was the highest scoring on HESI exit not only in my class but the class before me as well. I'm worried I didn't pass NCLEX-I had a lot of "You are presenting a nursing conference on ?? disease what would you include in your presentation?" I also had a ton of select all that apply and psych med side effects. NO calculations, a few priority, several peds and very few med-surg. I did feel as most of the questions were getting harder, but I'm not sure if it was just because I had never heard of these conditions or meds!! The diseases weren't even one's you could break down to decipher!! Everyone in my class that has taken boards so far has passed so now I'm really worried!
I should be able to find out quick results in the morning!! Anyway I really just needed to vent!!! Thanks for listening!
I took the PN NCLEX yesterday. The computer stopped at 85. I am now waiting for the 48 hour quick results. These 48 hours feel like months. I know that I have 5 new gray hairs from the anxiety of waiting. Thank God for hair dye. A lot of folks tell me that 85 is a good sign. I sure hope so.
Took NCLEX-PN on Saturday, was tricky, but not the hardest test I've even taken, tough I did leave a bit uncertain of my result when the machine shut off at 85 questions, 3 hours into the exam, but my 1PM Monday I was able to log on and see I passed and by this morning, Tuesday-June 22, I had my license number from New York State, just waiting for hard copy now. I know no one so far from my class who has taken the exam who has failed at 85 questions, I don't know if that is a testiment to the education with received together, but so far the nearly dozen of us out of 43 people that have taken it, have made it. Good luck, and do lots of questions everyday!!!!!!!!
Very nice. Do u remember any of question? Can u share some info about the test.
