Hey all, I took my NCLEX-PN on Monday and shut off at 85 questions. Now I've read numerous posts about the odds of passing at 85 BUT.................... I am currently enrolled in a LPN to RN accelerated program that I will have to withdraw from if I don't pass! I graduated with honors from LPN school and was the highest scoring on HESI exit not only in my class but the class before me as well. I'm worried I didn't pass NCLEX-I had a lot of "You are presenting a nursing conference on ?? disease what would you include in your presentation?" I also had a ton of select all that apply and psych med side effects. NO calculations, a few priority, several peds and very few med-surg. I did feel as most of the questions were getting harder, but I'm not sure if it was just because I had never heard of these conditions or meds!! The diseases weren't even one's you could break down to decipher!! Everyone in my class that has taken boards so far has passed so now I'm really worried! I should be able to find out quick results in the morning!! Anyway I really just needed to vent!!! Thanks for listening!

I am sure you have done fine. It seems unlikely that you would be top of your class and not to pass the nclex esp at 85 questions

I felt the same way. 85 is a great sign. We are very much in the same boat. I just started RN accelerated program also.

Just took my test yesterday, also got 85 questions. The wait is driving me nuts.

You're test sounds exactly like mine. I had a lot of drug questions, and a lot of psych question. And I think I had at least ten of those conference questions. I've never even seen questions worded that way. At my school they use the ATI testing program and we did a lot of practice tests, but this still seemed harder. On the comprehensive final I passed and it said I had a 99% chance of passing my NCLEX but now I'm not so sure that it was accurate.Let me know how you did, so I'll at least have some hope if you passed.
I passed with 85 questions!!!
Congratulations!!!
I passed!!!! Yay!!!

hi everyone, I just took my lpn nclex test on 02/04/2009, I am currently waiting for the results, I am really freak out becuase the computer shut off at question 85, I had talk to my teachers and they cheer me up by saying I did ok, but I am 50/50 chances that I pass or fail...I am so nervous about that everytime I remember it I want to vomit
