  1. You can call the board and ask. If they tell you that you need to process your application through CGFNS International, Inc. | Global Credibility | and to pass TOFL exam then it means they are still considering PR as international. Colorado state is pretty easy and many of my classmates did it through Colorado and then endorsed their license to their home state. I did my boards through California state because Is where I live and does not see PR graduates as international.
  2. Wow I want to that ![emoji5]️ it's Stanford the hospital name?
  3. I am taking my Nclex in 4 days and I finished my Kaplan course with average of 65% on the whole review course. I started doing U-World few days ago and I do agree that rationals are better than Kaplan more SATA type questions on each quiz. However my average score after have answering 350 questions is 57% I am nervous about this score and not sure if I should re-scheduled my exam !!! any suggestions?
  4. I think that everyone who is posting about how the BON should limit the times of taking the Nclex should just care about their own business. There are good nurses on the field who took the Nclex over 3 times but doesn't make them bad nurses. Some People are good on clinical skills, but not good on test taking, so what ? I am happy for those who passed their Nclex on the first try but I am more than 100% sure that before you passed you were scared and nervous as the one who couldn't make it on the first try. You cannot be giving opinions on what a BON should or shouldn't do with the ones who fail their exam that is not your job! 😑. We are nurses and our job is to provide a better care none of us was born a RN so be humble and instead of criticizing or caring about how many times someone took their Nclex plan on work as a team. I hope I never have the opportunity to work with anyone who posted negative comments and opinions and who cares more about people's business than caring about your patients. Work on how to make a difference on your patients' life or work on doing something positive/ improvements for nursing. I know doctors who didn't pass their boards on their first try and some of them passed on their 5th try and they are excellent surgeons! 😎 It is shameful that nurses attack each other 😢. For everyone's record I passed my exam with 93 questions on my second attempt and I am proud and I am not ashamed to admit it. For those who haven't pass the Nclex don't get discourage and don't listen or read negative comments. It will do better to you if you block negative people from your life while you are studying for your exam. ☺️
  5. Yes, got the good one and then the bad one
  6. I took mine and I checked it as soon as got to my car and got the good pop up and then checked it when i got home and got the bad one:no: I am gonna wait for the 24 hours as you stated above but I got happy and now I am depress.
  7. Took mine I did the PVT as soon I got to the Parking Lot And I got the good pop up. I checked again when I got home like 25 mins after and got the bad pop up:woot:
  8. Hello Wisconsin now considers Puerto Rico as international education and all applicants must pass the English proficiency exam and send your transcript through a third party evaluation company, which sort of pricy. Our next options for the ones who finished a nursing program in PR is do it through Colorado State.
  9. Classes start on August 1st yes. I am not sure what other dates are available for orientation, but call the school and ask to be transfer to the nursing department so you can ask about ways to register for the classes. They usually have several orientation dates when I started last year I chose the last one in July however I came to Puerto Rico to register in May of last year.
  10. The inter metro campus is the only one that has the English program and yes other campuses do offer the nursing program, but in Spanish and in a semester system.
  11. If I am not wrong I think there is an orientation on June 21 not sure about the time yet. If you already receive your acceptance letter you should come and register the classes. The nursing department will not call anyone to let them know about registration. The sooner you do it the best class schedule you can get. Now are you doing a regular BSN or accelerated one ? Good luck !
  12. Your welcome. You can still apply for fasfa. Remember that the due date of March 2 is for California state only just to see if you qualify for any Calgrants. You can work here for sure but bilingual students obviously get jobs easier.
  13. Most students live in la Cumbre area is a complex like 10 mins away walk to school. Cars have a higher value here compare to the states, though you can buy a car good enough to drive you around for about 3k or so. I am from California and will be applying for my license there. At this point there is about 15 people who are from California doing the program here.
  14. If you mean cost of the program? That depends if you are transferring credits and the number of credit units you register for each trimester. Roughly around $2700-3000 is the tuition. In regard rent if you want to live by the beach you can get a studio starting from $500 to $3000 Dlls. Yes, you will need a car to move from your apartment to school if you decide to live by the beach. Ultimately, it depends of your budget; you can get good deals if you take the time to look around. Good luck !
  15. Yes, you can apply now and start the program this coming August. Now, do you have a bachelors degree already ? If you do then you will start taking nursing classes this August, but if you don't have a Bachelors then you will start taking general education courses in August and on your second trimester you will start with your nursing courses.
