NCLEX was a monster! Does the Pearson Vue Trick work on Saturdays?

Published

I took the test Nclex-RN yesterday and OH MY. I felt like I had never gone to nursing school. I was hoping it would shut off at 75 but it kept rolling. When I started hitting 120...130 I started to tear up and am certain I was not successful. Finally in the 150's it shut down. I bolted out of there and cried my eyes out. I know that the PVT isnt reliable and I will only know my results when the BON posts "Active" (or not) Pearson Vue told me they do NOT process tests on the weekends. I tried the trick and it will not let me register for another exam and says "delivery successful". However, could that just be because its the weekend and the tests havent been processed yet? I start my new job Monday. I wont know until that day, while Im working, what the results are. I am a mess. I have NEVER taken such a difficult test in my life. So much for the advice that the test is "basic". I got a TON of "check all that apply". Ugh!

I believe it does work over the weekend.

I took mine on Saturday too. It tells me mine are on hold. I hope it works on Monday.

keep your head up , i'm sure u did awesome :nurse:

Logged on to the BON website today and saw "active" next to my name!! I still almost dont trust it, Pearson Vue told me they didnt process tests on the weekends and nothing would be looked at until monday!

I took mine on Saturday as well I thought it was hard I walked out confused & praying leaving it in God's hand. When I was sitting there I felt like I was about to have a MI

I did the Pearson Vue Trick 2 hours after completion and got good popup. May even work sooner, I waited 2 hours.

I know how you feel...i was crying when i hit the 120's...then it rolled to 200's...and i felt like "why am i even here"...I was so ashamed of myself. There were 20 very obscure drugs that I never even heard of, some things that i never even had heard of...omg, 221 questions...i cried all the way home.

I know i got the last question right before it shut off, but omg, i felt like such a dummy. I agree, i have never taken such a hard test in all my life. It started hard, and the whole test just kept getting harder. I cant believe that they asked questions like..."a patient is prescribed (obscure drug), what would you teach them?"...then a bunch of answers that didnt even tell you what kind of condition they had, couldnt lump the drug into any categories, omg...i had to guess blindly...

I took it yesterday. So last night i tried the trick, and i got the good screen, i am hoping that i passed, but i feel like i didnt.

Im in Florida, so i will get the quick results tomorrow.

I'm writing this to help anyone who is waiting for their results and just "knows" that they failed. I took my NCLEX test on 9/27/2012. I knew that when my computer shut off at 75 questions that there was no question I had failed!! I wasn't even crying or upset. I was resigned and calm knowing that the next time I just needed to study harder. I wasn't even freaking out about getting my results because I KNEW that I had failed!!! I came home to sign up for quick results (really to prove to my family that I had failed!) but I couldn't figure out how to do it so I began to google how to sign up for quick results. It was then that I begin to read about the Pearson Vue Trick. I didn't believe that it worked at all. However I did it, just to see eventually if it was right. I got the "good pop up" and knew that the trick didn't work. At about midnight on 9/28/2012 I checked my state licensing website to see if anything had come up yet. (I had also been checking Pearson Vue!) When I first pulled up my name it still said Licensed Practical Nurse, and as I went to click out of the website, my results came in and my license rolled over as I watched it to Registered Nurse. I couldn't believe it!!!!! I'm not quite sure how it happened, but I passed. (I still keep checking the licensing website to make sure it hasn't changed back! Lol!!) Anyway, the Pearson Vue trick worked for me! It also worked for my friend, who sadly didn't pass the first time. Pearson took her straight to the credit card information area. I know she's going to pass next time, but I'm a believer now in the Pearson Vue Trick! Good luck to all those preparing to take the test and those waiting for their results!!!!!!!!!

I'm so thankful to read your post! I just took NCLEX today and had to take the entire exam and was so certain that I failed. I cried all the way home and waited 3 hours before I had the nerve to check the Pearson Vue trick. I tried it and got the good pop up and did it again an hour later and got it again but.........here I am searching the forum just to make sure that it works! Thank you for posting. I might actually sleep tonight!!
