Hi Everyone, I was just curious as to what, how everyone else was doing in their kaplan, saunders or whichever nclex practice scores and uh the result of your nclex exam. Most of the posts I found were ah a few years old. Also good luck everyone who has still to take the exam. Please share or comment on the following:

- Kaplan QT 1-7 scores

- Kaplan Qbank average

- Kaplan Diagnostic Test

- Kaplan Readiness Test

- Total practice questions completed

- How long did you prepare

- Questions per day

- Books used

- iPhone Apps

- NCLEX result and number of questions asked of you.

Thankies!!

Hello Everyone,

I have been freaking out. I have been working on Kaplan-PN qbanks for 3 weeks now. At first I started off getting in the 40%'s now I am getting in the low to high 50's with an occasional 60% (my highest qbank score). I took my readiness exam and got a 75%! I am starting to think this 75% is a fluke because I am still scoring in the 50's. I take my test very soon and was thinking about rescheduling it.

Anyone else think the readiness test was easier than the qbanks? Any thoughts?

my score from nclex 4000 around 67- 72% that means I should schedule the exam ?

Hello everyone! This will be my second attempt at the NCLEX, and this time i decided to review with the Kaplan online review.(my first attempt i only used saunders:nono:) I have been using it for three weeks now and have already done 75% of the qbank and the first four qtrainers. My average for the qbank is 57%, and my qtrainer scores are 1) 55% 2)63% 3)54% 4)53%. My test date is at the end of september and i am not so happy with my scores.. kaplan is very challenging for me but i feel that is a good thing because it will help me think in an NCLEX way. i review every rationale at the end of every test and i have gone over half of the book so far while taking notes. My question is should i not pay so much attention to my scores or is there something else i can do to improve? i have also watched some of the content vids. Right now i feel a lot of doubt and am terrified to take the NCLEX again. i feel like i should be achieving in the 60's by now, and i only achieve it sometimes instead of most of the time. my usual for the qbanks are high 50's. :uhoh21:

also my diagnostic was a 65%

I took my readiness exam midway of doing my qbanks. Anyone taking Kaplan PN, did you take it before you started the qbanks? And if you took it after the qbanks or midway like me, what was your score?

I took my test today, still in shock...pop up is good, but I don't believe it's true, when I went out I felt I failed and no way to pass.Had 130 q's, all easy. Can not wait for Friday to check 48 hrs results....

I was scoring between 63 and 69 percent on 4000 and passed NCLEX over a week ago. Just get it over with!

Let me congratulate you right now! No one has ever gotten the popup and not passed.

Just an FYI my friend took her test yesterday and her results are now posted on board of nursing. She didn't have to pay for the quick results! Oh, and she got the "good pop up too!" Congrats! I believe in the trick! lol

Thank you,Paco-RN!Hope you are right!

Guys, where is this BON, where can I check my name? I'm in NY.

hi guys i was just wondering how this could even be possible? and if there are those who practice this... - as far as i know ng tube irrigation uses NS

The nurse should irrigate the tube with cola because its effervescence and acidity are suited to the purpose, it’s inexpensive, and it’s readily available in most homes. Advancing the NG tube is inappropriate because the tube is designed to stay in the stomach and isn’t long enough to reach the intestines. Applying intermittent suction or using a syringe for aspiration is unlikely to dislodge the material clogging the tube but may create excess pressure. Intermittent suction may even collapse the tube.
