Hi Everyone, I was just curious as to what, how everyone else was doing in their kaplan, saunders or whichever nclex practice scores and uh the result of your nclex exam. Most of the posts I found were ah a few years old. Also good luck everyone who has still to take the exam. Please share or comment on the following:

Hi Luchcole ,I feel you ! I'm second taker and so tired studying for 4 months .kaplan extend my subscription and i keep answering after I failed last April . May 1 I start to answering q bank I got score 76% in 100% and keep answering .now it's getting higher very ridiculous score sometimes I answered 100% correct in 3 of the categories ...I did my diagnostic 64.4%. But I Need help to Boost more confident!

thanks babywinona. When is your test date? I have exhausted all the questions too but i just went back and review all of it. I'm waiting for my PDA book to arrive, they said it's very helpful. And now i'm planning to get the NCSBN subscription for 3 weeks...lol I don't know what to do anymore. What were your kaplan scores initially when you first took the test back in April, if you don't mind telling.

i have trouble starting to read a book cause basically english is my second language and it my energy consumptions doubles when i READ, so ended up finding my self falling a sleep..
I think you are doing good but just keep reviewing though it will improve. we can do it noemark. english is not my first language too and i do agree its hard. not only that I get headache from all these studying, I'm also experiencing the worst hairloss i have ever experienced in my entire life probably due to the stress. When i'm about to give up, I think of those quotes like " No pain no gain", " No matter how hard it is never give up" and i think of all those beautiful shoes I can buy when I'm already working as an RN...lol

i really need to work hard on these... if ill be laying lazy ill find this consuming review extended for another months when in fact, i have the control to make it over by PASSING right!

Hi!That's my mistake the last time I took the exam, just excited and thought Ive learned a lot! I attended a live class review here in Florida which I paid $1600 because its a refresher course (because I graduated in Philippines too and want to have clinicals here in US so I have the exp. the hospital settings here)and we used Saunders 5th ed. so attacked in a nclex battle without enough knowledge that's why I end up failed!i used lecture video of Kaplan that time and didn't used to answer the qbank and q trainers.(i think i answer the diagnostic and got the score of 40"s the first time ).Never answer the questions bank because so anxious to answer Kaplan ha ha ha! Feels like someone will gonna bit me if i answer wrong! Im so nervous and Pressured with the counter time .and I found that there's a study mode so I can see the answer and rationale .I realized that I have to study more than I did before. Studying everyday answering minimum of 100 a day.i feel that my day is not complete without studying even I'm tired. I have my September schedule but I moved to October my ATT expire in November ,so I don't know if I can say I'm ready until I answer the readiness test.will studying for 6 months until my test date...

Hi babywinona. Please PM me if you can. I don't know how to do it. It's ok, mistake happened for us to learn lesson from it. Learn from it and move on, which you are. I'm balancing my time between reading kaplan course book for content and answering questions. It's exhausting because i have a baby to take care off and she just learned how to walk. She is all over the place so i can't really sit down and sit for long to study during the day. But you know what, we can do this. If others can why can't we. We just need to remember to put God in the center in everything we do and the saying "No Pain No Gain"

Hi sandan, i think Inori post the Kaplan readiness scores equivalent. I think it's in the 2nd page. Try checking it.
I am also starting the Kaplan Review Classroom tomorrow (Monday, Aug 27) Where are you taking your course? Mine is in San Antonio, TX. Anyone else going to this one. I just took my diagnostic test and I hope the score was ok, not so happy with it, but it was a 61%. Can anyone tell me what this means? I look forward to your responses! anyway, back to work.... :)

I heard better reviews with kaplan. But some ppl use both ncsbn and kaplan :) review.
