Hi Everyone, I was just curious as to what, how everyone else was doing in their kaplan, saunders or whichever nclex practice scores and uh the result of your nclex exam. Most of the posts I found were ah a few years old. Also good luck everyone who has still to take the exam. Please share or comment on the following:
- Kaplan QT 1-7 scores
- Kaplan Qbank average
- Kaplan Diagnostic Test
- Kaplan Readiness Test
- Total practice questions completed
- How long did you prepare
- Questions per day
- Books used
- iPhone Apps
- NCLEX result and number of questions asked of you.
- Comments / Suggestions
Thankies!!
I am also starting the Kaplan Review Classroom tomorrow (Monday, Aug 27) Where are you taking your course? Mine is in San Antonio, TX. Anyone else going to this one. I just took my diagnostic test and I hope the score was ok, not so happy with it, but it was a 61%. Can anyone tell me what this means? I look forward to your responses! anyway, back to work.... :)
I'm sorry for asking about the readiness test. I see you just started with kaplan. 61% is good and that is only a diagnostic test to guide you for your study plan. When is your test date?
Hi Luchcole,
I have only taken the diagnostic test so far, 61% yuck According to the email I got from Kaplan, this is all that was required before class starts, as I understood it, you take the predictor after the class, am I wrong?
My email stated this:
Preparations you will want to make before attending your first class are:
I am still working on this list.. gonna be a long night...so far, so good...
My test date is Sept 14, while my baby is due Sept 17, we will see how that pans out...
Wow! You're one of a kind girl. When i was pregnant, i couldn't even get up and get something to drink for myself. Wish you luck though. Let's just hope and pray that you will not go on early labor. :)
I am pretty tired lately, but I'd like to get this over with before he shows his face. I am determined to do whatever it takes to be an RN before he is born. This is not my first time taking this exam and I can't fail again, it's actually my 5th time, (very embarassing) taking this test. Kaplan is hopefully my key to success, so far I like the program, it'd better be worth my money since its piling on top of all the testing and registration fees for all these repeat tests. I've got more work to do tonight to be ready for tomorrow, let's hope I can stay awake that long, lol

Oh you should be proud because you tried and never gave up.With that attitude, there's no doubt you will succeed in your endeavor. You are right the expenses aren't a joke at all. We will all pass. God will hear us.
Hi babywinona. Please PM me if you can. I don't know how to do it. It's ok, mistake happened for us to learn lesson from it. Learn from it and move on, which you are. I'm balancing my time between reading kaplan course book for content and answering questions. It's exhausting because i have a baby to take care off and she just learned how to walk. She is all over the place so i can't really sit down and sit for long to study during the day. But you know what, we can do this. If others can why can't we. We just need to remember to put God in the center in everything we do and the saying "No Pain No Gain"
Hi luchcole I'm trying to PM you but I can't send it. Here's my Skype marshawinonab or my email [email protected]
Hi Inori,
Thank you for your feedback. I greatly appreciated it. I decided against rescheduling my exam. I've been studying forever and my scores haven't really dramatically changed during the course of the review. I took nclex today and got the good pop up! Hopefully I'll officially be a nurse tomorrow morning:)
Can someone tell me how this is looking? I take NCLEX-RN on Sept 5th. Reviewing with Kaplan daily...
Here are my scores so far:
NCLEX Diagnostic:67
QT1:61
QT2:64
QT3:58
QT4:61
QT5:61
QT6:68
Completed 41% of QB, making an average of 61%.
I plan to complete the rest of the QB and the last QT7, plus the readiness test in the next week.
Thanks!
Hi, I took the mandatory Kaplan review required to get my diploma from my college and the Hurst online review on my own. The kaplan was great for the decision tree experience and the Hurst was wonderful for the core content review. Just took my nclex today, and it shut off in 75 questions. I felt that either the questions were easy or that I didn't know them at all! Not sure how I did, but sure hoped I passed.
Oh, just wanted to add that in both the Kaplan and Hurst Qbanks, my average scores were in the low 70's, so hopefully that is a good sign.
