NCLEX January 2007 - 75 questions

Hello,

I have been reading the discussions, not posting a lot, but do appreciate everyone's advice.

I took my first NCLEX yesterday, and have been crying all day today. I just know I failed. I have looked up about 20 questions, and I missed them all. I know some of them can be pilot questions, but what if there were all 'real' questions? I felt good about five, I repeat, FIVE answers.... I just hope that the five I felt good about were not pilot questions.

I find out my results tomorrow - I hope. I already have a job, and if I don't pass, I lose it - it was a very competitive job to get, a lot of applicants, and I thought I was so lucky to get it.. now it may be slipping through my fingers!

Any advise on statistics of how many passed/failed with only 75 questions?

(I know it may not make a difference, but I am freaking out here). The questions were all hard for me, with the exception of a handful of easy ones.. it could be because I was nervous or not prepared, but I took Kaplan and scored high, my exit hesi was a high score, and my nursing GPA was a 3.7.

Thanks,

Stefanie:crying2: :crying2: :crying2:

stephanie:o everybody felt the same way. I also took the NCLEX-RN last wednesday here in London so at the moment..im a bit nervous and terrified.:scrying: hope you all the best...and fingers croosed and legs? that both of us will pass. Pray hard and be positive.

I agree, everyone feels that way. I took my Nclex on the 12th and it also shut off at 75. I don't know how I did yet. I guess I passed but I'm not sure. I did great on Kaplan and was salutatorian of my class but GEEZ! the Nclex was hard stuff.

My exam cut off at 75 questions. I am sure you did well. Have you checked for your results?

I PASSED!!!!!!

Wow, that was not fun... the waiting was nearly as bad as the NCLEX itself. I did the quick results with Pearson, and had to hold my breath when I entered my info.

Thank you for your encouragement.

I am a REAL nurse now!!!!!

:balloons:
