I think I am ready ( deep breath here ) I am testing in Syracuse NY.I have been wavering to study til the last possible moment or to skim and review and STOP on thursday. Upon reading other threads I think the best course of action was to allow myself to relax . I did the CPNE ( for those familiar with Excelsior) and managed the stress . At the time I said I rather take a 1000 question exam than that dang CPNE. Here I am just wanting this OVER.
I have used the Saunders disc and the Mosby's CAT.I would bookmark the Saunders questions I either was not sure of or got wrong and reviewed those. I was driving myself insane because those were the ONLY ones I was reveiwing for the last week ..OF COURSE I had trouble with them...I realized I should be giving myself credit for the 80% I got correct, not beating myself up over the 20% I have not mastered.
I am staying overnight so as to have some kid free relaxing time. I hope to meet up with friends and unwind. This post has been a bit theraputic for me too!

Hi Yvonne,
Just wanted to wish you good luck! I think I've seen your posts on the EPN. Sounds like you've put a lot of thought into the NCLEX, so I'm sure you'll do well.
hope to be a nurse

I wish you good luck...
I took the test on Monday and I am still waiting to find out if I passed.
Durring the test, after I answered around every third questions I would close my eyes and take some deep breaths.
Take all of thursday off. You need to rest your brain so it can be ready for the big test.
Good luck
I am back from taking my NCLEX already. I got the blue screen of death at 75. I had lots of priority questions...who to see or call back first , as well as a few protective precaution types, a few check all that apply. Ironically none of the things I focused on. I felt bewildered when the screen come up and I was outside the testing center less than 45 minutes after testing began.I just don't know.

Sending good vibes your way....I'm sure you did great!
When I took mine last week I also felt like "I just don't know..." and it was frustrating. But you will know soon enough that you passed and you can celebrate your RN!

Congrats, all that worrying for nothing! I also found out today that I had passed. I had 75 questions as well. I was unsure as well, but it worked out.
