I agree with the above commenter. I do 150-225 questions/day (combo of Kaplan and UWorld) and ensure I review each question right or wrong. I've noticed an increase in my scores lately, so continue to do questions. I've done 3000 questions and will have done around 4000 before taking my NCLEX in February as well. Good luck and happy studying!
How are your Kaplan and UWorld scores?
Kaplan and UWorld I've been scoring QB in the upper-50s to mid-60s, but maintaining scores >60%, lately. I have about 1.5 weeks to go with ~500 Kaplan and ~1000 UWorld QB questions left.
UWorld self-assessment I scored 69%, putting me in the 94th percentile with a very high chance of passing (after only doing 185 UWorld questions and 2.5 weeks prior to taking my NCLEX).
Thoughts?

I'm at 53% on UWorld and my test is on February 2nd. I've been recently seeing an increase in scores lately because when I began I would only get high 40s and low 50s but I haven't gotten anything lower than low 50s in a while now. I recently took my UWorld self-assessment and got a 66.7% with a 92% predictability (very high chance of passing). Part of me doubts myself especially knowing that I'm not too great of a test taker throughout school and especially seeing myself choose stupid obvious wrong answers on UWorld from time to time. I'm just hoping I have the confidence and the nerves to pass the first time!
I totally understand where you're coming from. I also do choose stupid obvious wrong answers from time to time and I kick myself in the butt and tell myself I should've known better. I'm taking mine soon after you and I keep reminding myself that my scores have been improving, which is a good sign to me. I keep telling myself so long as I do all of the QB questions in Kaplan and UWorld and the question trainers, review the questions right and wrong, that I've done everything I could to pass...and that's all we can do! Good luck and happy studying!
I have a 57% after finishing the QB for Two & my assessment was not good.... I'm currently doing all my wrong questions from UWorld
I think the problem is confidence on my end. Even when i saw a high predictability of passing I almost felt like it was luck that I got that. I have to keep telling myself that I'm going to be a nurse by the end of next week. Best of wishes to you. Lets keep each other updated. I'm just being consumed by stress and anxiety at the moment to the point where I just want to get it over with.
My Kaplan course instructor kept telling us to do positive self-talk. I definitely feel the same way, but I continue to just remind myself that I can do it, I can pass, I'm smart, etc. She also gave us a tip that during the NCLEX, to sit there and take a mental break. Close your eyes and do some guided imagery...I found that when I get tired of doing these questions, if I close my eyes and take me to my happy place, I relax so much more! Just keep up the positive self-talk. We can do it! Good luck to you and please do keep me updated! Wishing you the best!
