I took my NCLEX today. The test shut off at 75 questions. I really do not have any clue how I did. I felt more sick leaving the test than I did before I went in. I did Kaplan and NCSBN. Both of my Kaplan predictor tests put me in the passing range, but I am not feeling very good right now. I had a lot of med questions, several on diabetes, which I heard if they repeat themselves means you are not doing very well. I also had about 5-6 choose all that apply which I was never good at. I had no calculation questions. I had several that were priority...can't remember if I had any delegation. I am just sick.....I really don't have a good feeling right now. Can anyone relate and do you have any advice?

Your exam sounds so very similar to mine. I found out yesterday that I passed (with 75).....I did not feel very confident about my test either. The wait is torture, but I bet you passed. Let us know!
Thank you. I am just so nervous about it. Everyone keeps saying about having the priority and delegation questions. I know I had several priority, but I don't remember if I had any delegation. I know quite a few about teaching. I did the worse thing possible...I came home, tried to rack my brain with questions that I had, and then got very upset when I realized that I probably choose the wrong answer. I can't remember my last question or if the test seemed to get harder or easier.....everything is just a blur. I would have hoped that I had more confidence in myself when I came out, but that is not the case. I don't know how I am going to just "wait" out the next two days????
Congratulations Jessi1106 on passing your test!!!
Good luck to you Scoobydoo32, I hope all goes well for you!!!

Couple of things to keep in mind:
- The exam is set up so that both passers and failers get ~50% right, so later finding that you missed a bunch of questions should not distress you.
- Repeat questions (questions with similar themes) occur for a variety of reasons and they are not an indication that you're doing badly.
- All of the stuff about level of difficulty is, at best, a wild guess. Don't stress yourself out more by overanalyzing.
This link to the NCLEX Candidate Bulletin should be required reading prior to NCLEX registration. Pretty valuable information here about how the exam works:

Hang in there! Let us know how it turns out.
Thank you for the information. I am going to read the link. It is so hard not to read into things or listen to what others are saying. I am worried that it shut down at 75. I was so nervous and I just hope that I was thinking clearly enough to pass. I will let you know. Thanks again for the info!!

You're not my mommy are you? 'Cause my name is Jayden too...lol
I was in the same boat as u (just found out I passed this morning). I also had 75 Qs and I walked out of there nauseated and with a HUGE H/A. I had a lot of priority Qs and lots of teaching/education Qs. I had only one "check all the above" question which I'm pretty sure I got wrong. Meds Qs I got about ~10, most of which I had no clue whatsoever...just picked the answer that sounded the worst. I had 2 med calculation question which I was pretty sure I got right...sadly those were the few that I totally felt I got right.
I felt totally the same way u are feeling right now...like I failed it BIG TIME. So, don't think about it too much. Drink some wine and take a nice hot bubble bath and try to relax yourself, 'cause I know you passed!!!
I'll be waiting for your good news.
Thank you Nursing4Sure for the vote of confidence. I am so worried about getting the results. My Jayden is two years old.....think you might be a bit older..LOL!
