You will receive your test result from BVNPT via mail. Usually two to three weeks from the date of the exam.

California does not participate in the 48-hour quick results option. In addition, you won't see your name on the California BVNPT website until you have received your results by mail and pay the additional $100 fee.

I took my NCLEX-PN for California on December 28, received my passing results via mail on January 9, mailed the $100 on January 10, and saw my name on the California BVNPT wesbite on January 20.

im in california and i tried calling the board and they wouldn't give me the results over the phone. all they will tell you is if they sent it out or not. i got my results 16 days after i took my test.

I think I read somewhere around here or I heard from some other source...You receive your letter with 2-4 weeks via mail and then when you pay your $100.00 to get your actual license your name appears on the website...nothing sooner

Hi, thanks for the info. Look like its going to be a while before I let anyone know I passed. But in the meanwhile still thinking positive "now" with the help of this web site, Im going to start looking for a job as a LVN.

It is not exactly 10 days for everyone. 10 days is actually a quick response time from the California BVNPT.

I had to wait 12 days to receive my results from California. Most NCLEX-PN test takers have to wait three to five weeks for their results to arrive. It all depends on when you take NCLEX and how many others are taking it at that time period. Traditional graduation months, such as June and January, often yield slower test results since the BVNPT still processes everything by hand.

I'll repeat what I had previously said: it might take up to five weeks to receive your test results.

Thanks TheCommuter. I've been hearing about how fast or slow they've been getting their results. When I get them I guess I get them. No use in "having a cow" about them now. Whatever my results are, are what they are. Just keeping the faith and hoping everything goes well.
