Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to add another confirmation to the power of the Pvt. I took the Nclex on friday, 7/9, few hours later i went to the site and got the "good pop-up" so today i paid the $8 and saw that i passed :anpom:

:crying2::mad::crying2: I have been an LPN since 2003. I finished my BSN in November 08'. I just took my boards on July 9th 2010. I know I waited way tooo long, but life, family and other unexpected life happenings came 1st. My exam stopped at 203 questions. I tried the pop up and it let me go to the credit card part. I know I "failed"! :( I tried the pop up with my LPN and it would not let me go any further, duhh, because I have my LPN license). I will receive my official results in the morning. Not looking forward to that. I had soo many priority questions. :crying2::crying2::mad::mad:

Can someone please tell me what "SATA" questions are? Does that mean you are close to passing:) Need some insight so in 45 days when I take again then I can llo for those type of questions.. I am sooo BUMMED!:crying2::crying2::idea::idea::mad:

awe I'm sorry...please come back and let us know if the PVT really did work for you. Just get back on that horse and kill it next time! Everything happens for a reason right! oh and SATA just stands for "select all that apply" :) good luck to us all! This test is a nothing more than that...just one test! :)

Thank you for the encouraging words! I know it works because it won't let you register if you passed. That wouldn't make any sense if it would. Of course Personvue wantes the $7.95 so they won't say anything different... I'm very sad but will conquer it next time! Good luck to everyone!

how accurate is the PVT? i mean i stopped at item number 75.. i took the exam this july 10,2010. and tried the PVT and had a good pop up.. what does it mean?

@ justin, if you did the Pvt and you got the "good pop-up" message, then the odds are highly in your favor

I took the NCLEX on Saturday July 10th and would bet anything that I failed. The computer shut off at like 255, the last question was easy and I'm sure that I answered it wrong. Anyway, I went home and tried the trick and got the good pop up. Has anyone ever got the good pop up and failed???

Specializes in MSICU, Neuro/Trauma ICU.

I took mine today (75 questions) and just checked and got the "good" pop up! :)

Lets hope its right!

I took mine today and I got around 110 questions. I tried 5 times and got the good pop up. I'm praying the trick works

Took my test this morning, I got home and got the good pop up, I will post the results when I know 100% for sure.......Good luck to all who are waiting, the suspense is driving me crazy!!!!!

I also had to take all 265 questions........

how accurate is the PVT? i took it last july 10,2010, i have a good pop up.. but my name is not on the BON..help!!

PVT works 100%. I took nclex pn on May 22 I got 183 questions. I really felt like I failed, I got home & after one hour I tried the trick, I got the "good pop-up". I kept doubting the trick thinking I might be the only one that got the pop up & failed. I tried the trick everyday for one week & it was still the same pop up. Got my results on July 6 & I passed!! I was so happy. I always struggled in school so if I can do it anyone can do it! If you got the good pop up congrats! & if you got the credit card page start studying again but don't give up!
