Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

The trick works!! 4 of us went to take the nclex pn Tuesday and felt like we all failed. We heard about the trick, and researched forums on it to ease our minds while waiting 2 days for our unofficial results. We all got the good pop up, and today we all found out we passed! Thank goodness for the trick or I would've been crazy w anxiety the past 2 days!

Got the good pop up on tuesday 9/21/2010 and confirmed i passed today via the quick results!!!

It works!!!

I'm sorry but that doesn't mean the trick is 100% accurate. What about the people that got the good popup and didn't pass?

Took the test 2 days ago. Stopped at 75. Had absolutely clear in my mind that I had failled... had no clue about that questions. Lots of "priorities", 4 calculations (difficult ones on IV) and went home crying. Came here to get some "support" and learned about the trick.. Good pop up came up, saying I could not register again. This morning, results are there... pass. I still can't believe it. All I need to say is that I felt the pain of not passing, at least in my mind. If you ever need some support, I am here for you!!!

hey rachel its brandoncs86

The trick worked for me. Got a good pop up yesterday. Today I have my license number!!!!! YES! :nurse::yeah:

Has anyone had a "good" pop up and failed? I am still waiting for a license number or my name removed from the BON.

Just want to share my experience...the PEARSON trick worked on my case. I took NCLEX-RN on Jun.25, after 2 hours of my test I tried the trick and got the good pop-up. They mailed my RN certification on July 2. (I live in California which doesn't provide quick result)

Also want to encourage all the RN-to-be, even you feel you are not confident at the time while test, it doesn't mean the test is going to be failed. I have the same feeling after my test was done, but without any regreat cause I know I have tried my best, put all my efforts. If the result comes good, all the hard works will pay off. If the result comes out bad, that will mean I have to correct the way I study, find the weak point.

Good luck to all RN-to-be.

I appreciate the encouragement I suppose that most would not want to advertise failing the NCLEX, although we all hit rough spots in life and it is a very difficult test to say the least. However, I have yet to see or hear of anyone getting the good pop up and failing so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I took my test yesterday and I tried to do the trick and it gave me the message of "This candidate has results on hold. The candidate can not create a new registration at this time." I'm so scared and I have no idea if I passed. I had all 265 questions and was there for the full 6 hrs. I feel like I did ok but there were a lot of things on the test that I felt I was guessing at. Please help?!

Well, I took the NCLEX-RN today ... my test shut off at 75 questions...

According to the PVT, I passed ... I got the good pop up! :) Waiting to get official results! :)
