Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

@ equusrn, I hear what you're saying. But people are always going to worry until they get the official results. Yes the trick appears to be very accurate, but when you are waiting to find out if all your hard worj paid off, the trick will only give you a small sense of relief. This is speaking from experience. I did the trick and got the good pop up but I was still nervous as h$ll and paind the $8 for quick results because only seeing the word PASS would make it real.

As much anxiety as that tests causes... I truly believe I'd spend the $7.95 to get my results 20 minutes earlier LOL... Getting the "good" pop-up is great, but nothing really makes it real until you see it.

I truly believe the PVT, I tried it after I finished the exam and got the good pop. And then one day later I checked the BON it shows I passed. I really thank the people who figure out this trick.:jester::yeah::lol2::redbeathe:nurse:

i got the good pop up. i pray it works!!!!!!!!

It really works!!!!! I took my NCLEX-RN on Thursday Sept 23 and I just knew for certain that I had failed. I got home and got the "good popup" which game me strength to go on through out the weekend. I just got my results today and I PASSED!!!! I am officially an RN!! Go me :monkeydance:

Hi All,

I took my RN exam this morning and did not feel that I was at the passing level when my test cut off at 75 questions, but many of my previous questions were difficult and obscure; lots of prioritization, delegation, and infection control (was the test slipping in some of those experimental questions at the end? They were low end but weird). Still, I felt like I was forced to guess between the two best options way too much! I left the testing center in a fog of doubt, but I feel much better after reading the posts on this site. So many people seemed to have a similar test experience, and they felt like they failed with 75 questions, but found out they passed, including my wife who has already been an RN for years. I remember having a hard time convincing her that the difficulty of her questions and minimum 75 meant that she probably passed. Now I am in the same situation.

Since I live in CA and may have to wait forever to get my results, I was thrilled to learn of the "trick". I tried it and got the good window!!!! I will now be able to continue along in life in a reasonably calm manner until I get the official word. I can't wait to be the next to confirm that the PVT works!!!!!

Good luck to all that are preparing to take the exam. Practice with endless questions, so you know how to deal with questions concerning a drug or disease that you never, ever heard of before! I used to complain that my school was teaching us how to guess instead of teaching us the information. Now I understand why!

PVT WORKS!!!!!!! The trick absolutely works! Im in TX, took the NCLEX-RN test Fri (09/24/10) and an hour later tried the PVT trick, after i saw the delivery confirmation status, and I got the "good" pop up! This morning, (9/26/10) paid the $8 bucks to get quick results and it said I PASSED :)

Thanks to all for passing this info around and posting exact directions on how to step by step do the PVT. My test stopped at 100 questions, didn't feel too good or too bad about it, so this was a major relief for the 48 hours I had to wait...

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
