The pearsonvue thread is well over 1000 pages and 10,000 posts long.
The original thread (part 1) is now closed. here is a continuation of the same topic (part 2) with the following links:
Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

7) enter your password.
? click the button.

10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
This question has been asked over and over again with no response to it.... Hmmmm. I am inclined to think that if you failed the good pop up does not occur. Nobody has answered this question so maybe it is because nobody has experienced it!
Failed with good pop up and CC page and passed was never documented and appeared to have not happened at all. Anyone who claims otherwise and comes forward will be most appreciated by people who tried the trick and are waiting for the official results. Good pop up then positive official results happened to me.
I took my CA Nclex-RN exam last wednesday Sept 22, 2010 and tried the PVT the next day and got a good pop-up but until now I haven't seen my name posted on the BON site been trying the trick until now and yet kept getting the good pop-up, I am losing hope already...anyone got any clue about this or is it already a "no go?"
Myself and 8 others from my class have taken the NCLEX have gotten the good popup and passed, confirmed 24 hours later by the official results on our Nurse board. 14 of my class have taken the NCLEX and we have all passed, still waiting on the results for the last 12. will keep you posted.
peace out,
I took my Nclex RN examination on Tuesday sept 21st and I got the good pop up on Pearson website, but still haven't seen my name up on the BRN. At first the Pearson trick stated "the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time". Then 24 hours later I got the good pop stating "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time". Should I be worried after 4 days?
EDIT: took the test in California
