Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Waiting... waiting... waiting....:anbd: A little over 1/2 way through the 48 hour wait for NCLEX-RN quick results. Don't know how you folks in CA keep your sanity!
About 90 questions - including meds from Mars (certainly not any I've seen here on Earth), and since I'm very confident in lab values/meanings and dosage calcs, I got none of those, of course. Out of a random 3000 questions, definitely would've appreciated having at least one I KNEW on my exam.
I expected to be crowned with a nurse-dunce hat on my way out the door.
But I do have the 'good pop-up' at Pearson Vue. Not to think I'm special or anything, but I fear I may be the exception to the pop rule.
We'll see... in another...ho hum... 19+/- hours.
PS to Zucreb - I filled it out just as if I were applying to take it for the second time.
I sure do hope you are right ! This is sooooo nervewracking ! :hdvwl:
I really do hope we did have the same test and the same outcome ! Only 36 more hours to go ! Eeek ... I wish they would just have the results when you get home ... I couldnt even imagine waiting weeks to find out in the mail .. I would go nuts !
Took the Nclex RN on Sept 27th. Got the good pop up! Woo! Just hoping it's an official pass too. Thank you AN for this forum. =) It's good to hear that CA posted results after 3 days. I hope it's the same for me! Congrats!
I took all 265 questions. It was mentally exhausting and I kept telling my self to focus focus focus on every question till the end. It was so hard to do that! I kept reminding myself what our instructor said from Kaplan- the NCLEX is designed so that you will miss about 50% of it.
Pass or fail, all things are possible through Him! :redbeathe

PVT works! It works! It works! I am a California Registered Nurse! I took the N-CLEX this Saturday, September 25th. Cut off after 75 questions. Pearson gave me the handout and word that the CA BORN can take up to 4 weeks to process the result. I did the PVT the same day and got the "good" result. It calmed me down. I was all prepared to sit back and wait forever. I did not show up on the CA license verification site yesterday, but I was stunned to see my name listed today!!!! I can't believe it! 4 days later I am officially a registered nurse!!!! It works...good luck to all. Now, I've got work to do!
