Just took the nclex, damn was it hard?

Nursing Students NCLEX

hey allnurses, i just took the nclex. It shut me off at 75 question! Damn was it confusing, so it was vague, questions were definitly really short not like uworld. Seemed like it went straight to the point. I did the "PVT" and used my real cc information. Got the good pop up, and still in disbelief. Now, i don't wanna go too much in detail but man, i felt like it was hard and easy at the same time.

Here are my scores, during nursing school, we did hesi, got 80% conversion score

During uworld, got 61.6% overall

1 assessment got 73% at 94th percentile

2nd assessment got 70% and 91st percentile overall.

I also used lacharity, did up to 19 chapters with and overall of 60 percent (im guessing)

guys the nclex was alot different from these resources. It was hard to me because it was vague. I hope i had passed because all of my classmates who had passed, did the pvt and it was accurate for them. Stay strong ya'll it was a hard test but easy at the same time. in the end, i came out feeling defeated like most nclex takers. I still feel like i failed so i am assuming that i failed until i see my results. Should i celebrate now? Or wait till i know i passed?

Congratulations! Good luck in your practice. All the best.

Wishing you the best of luck, sending good vibes....I am RN graduate from 4 years ago. I have taken test 3 times and failed. That is the most devastating feeling in the world, especially when you think you did great. I passed my LPN boards the first time, but the RN boards are horrid. I also have horrible test anxiety. Both LPN and RN school was horrible for me. I am dragging my stuff back out and giving it another go but I am scared to death. I have all my notes, study guides, saunders book and thinking about getting UWorld. I gave up a little over a year ago and thought maybe getting my RN just wasn't for me, but then I thought I put all that work into school (time, money, frustration, tears) I better get something out of it, plus what kind of sample am I setting for my daughter. So here I am going to give it another try. If anyone has any advice, study help, words of encouragement, whatever, it would be greatly appreciated for this 47 yo RN grad, working LPN and mom. Thanks in advance folks. :)

Get wet uworld for sure. Worth every penny. You can do it!! Good luck!!

I also took my NCLEX-Pn a week ago July 5th & still no letter (I live in CA) I called the board of nursing to see if they mailed out my results letter and she said they haven't mailed it yet! Making my anxiety even worse so I asked her in case that I failed if I can register to retake exam again thru her or online and she told me not to do it In case I "passed" there's no refund? Any thoughts/advice anyone?
