I'm plagued with insomnia because of nclex..

The last time I went to sleep was saturday night, after I took my exam, because I was tired. Then the last few days I barely slept at all..maybe just a couple of hours and that's it. I expected to go all the way to 265 questions but it stopped at 75. I thought the exam was easy...I started getting priority questions at item #2, and SATAs at item #6..had 3 SATAs before item #10, and after that I didnt count them any more..maybe I only had 10 or so. I had two of the drag-and-drops, two med calculations, and two ivf calculations that blew my mind off. The meds I had were familiar to me, except for one. Some of the questions were plain comprehension levels, but when it gets easy as that I told myself that maybe they're those 15 unscored tests so I should not freak out. At question 35 I was getting sleepy..I get bored with questions that easily..so I was taking deep breaths and closing my eyes every now and then. The computer shut off at 74, and I took the break, came back and it shut off at 75. It was like I broke out of a trance state and started shaking, I wanted to cry. I am scared of my results bec. this is my third time to test, the last time I had above passing levels except for three areas and I was so heart broken.

:sniff:Sorry this is so long but I really can't sleep.

Hang in there, results should be long and then you can relax. Try and think of other stuff to distract you from waiting. Good luck

Awwww. Waiting is the tough part. My advice? Don't come back on this forum till you find out. I LOVE allnurses....but right before/after I took my exam, it only made me more anxious. I think for people like myself, it can make you obsess in an unhealthy way.

Good luck and I hope you find out soon
