NCLEX in CA, How long before results posted?

I just took the NCLEX Thursday and it shut off after 75 questions. The questions seemed so hard and many from left field...I just don't feel good at all. I am anxious for the results and was wondering what the typical timeline is in California. I know I'll be checking the Web site hourly after this loooong, painful weekend.

I am still waiting too. My classmates have had varied timing of results as well. Three took it at the same time and place and one waited 3 days, another a week and another nearly 3 weeks. They all passed with 75 questions. :rolleyes: So we wait.....my fingernails are stubs now :no:

I'll be right there with you after tomorrow (I test tomorrow). The waiting game will probably make me more anxious then the test itself. Boy, the BRN could make a lot of money - if they did quick results, I would pay top dollar for the results :chuckle Best of luck to you and keep us posted as soon as you hear back!!!

You can also phone the CA BON to make sure that they have actually received your transcripts. :)

If they issued me an IP, doesn't that mean they've received my transcripts???

Okay heres the thing with my situation. I took the NCLEX on 6/23 -- so far nothing coming up on the CA BRN website. A few of my friends taken it .. and their license were posted within 3 buisness days.

I also had a classmate who took the NCLEX on 6/20 - results never posted until 7/9. This was 3 weeks. She decided to check on the website and suddenly saw her name on there.

As for me.... people have told me stories that their name coming up in a month or finding out by mail. Of course I hope I passed with 75 questions. But as of right now .. im accepting the fact that I probably failed ... until my confirmation letter comes.

So those who are waiting for the results and the stupid BRN to post ... its okay you are not the only one. It may take up to 4 days - 1 month. Dont lose hope ... you need documentation in the mail to confirm!!!

And this is refering to the IPs that are given. The BRN gave my classmates their IP's the day after graduation, meaning that transcripts were probably not ready right after we graduated but the BRN decided to issues us IP's.

I just got off the phone with them after trying for 30 minutes. My transcripts are all in and it has been exactly 2 weeks since I took the exam. I was told they are VERY busy and "to give them till end of week and I should see something on the system". I don't know if that was code that I passed or not but you don't show on the system unless you passed. Anyway, I am still waiting..... :uhoh3:

It took me 5 business days to get my passing results on the BRN site. i took my test n 7/6 found out early today 7/13 :rotfl:

took my nclex rn last oct 5 thursday till this time i haven't seen my name yet on website...is that mean i failed?

Can someone plz tell me hw can i find NCLEX-RN results on BRN site?. I took my test on 14 oct.

Hey everyone!

It's been two weeks and a day for me (I took it Oct. 2) and still nothing. Yes, I check only once a day, and yes, the BRN updates from 1:30 am to 3 am (I know this because I sometimes have sleepless nights). Still trying to keep my hopes up and everyone's been giving me encouragement - it's not over till it's over, right?

To check if your license has been issued, go to the website (http://www.rn.ca.gov) and click on "permanent license verification" on the right column. Type in your name and click search (I put last name and first initial and click "match any part of name" because my last name has a space between it) and then click "search." If nothing, your license has not been issued yet. Don't drive yourself crazy checking every hour because like it was said previously, it updates once a day.

For those of us waiting, let's not give up just yet! I hope you find support in this forum, because I know I definitely do.

My question is, why are we being punished for living in a state with beautiful beaches and great weather? Hahah.. just kidding :wink2:

i took mine on sept 21st. and nothing.. no results.. everythng in my life is failling apart..

i took my board on 0ct3 today is oct 18. there is no result on computer or i did not get any mail. i am getting crazy. i had 265 question. i donot know what to do.

Keep trying to call the BON. Maybe you can give them your new address and then they can send you the results there. Don't give up....
