wow...i got this information right out of the Kaplan course book

For disaster/triage think: provide the greatest good for the greatest amount of people. Save in order: Red-airway problems or pts that are in a life-threatening situation that have the highest possibility of survival. yellow: "walking wounded" ex, minor burns to legs or possible fx green: lacerations, child crying, psychsocial black: least possibility of survival, see last and will be your last priority.

It took me 5 business days to get my passing results on the BRN site. i took my test n 7/6 found out early today 7/13 :rotfl:

1. 198 2. KAPLAN REVIEW COURSE WITH QUESTION TRAINER AND VIDEOS, KAPLAN 2005-2006 REVIEW BOOK, SAUNDERS COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW 2ND ED. 3. CAT 4. 5 BUSINESS DAYS-CALI ( I PASSED!!!) 5. THAT I TOTALLY FAILED-I CRIED 6. YES FIRST TRY

hey! congrats!!!! i noticed you were from cali so am i when did u take you test?? i took mine 7/6 and still anxiously waiting results! =\

first of all, i would like to congratulate you on your official title as an rn, you must be extremely happy, i can only imagine how you feel, and i have yet to experience that feeling. i also noticed that your from cali, im also from cali and took my exam just this past wed 7/6,...how many days did you have to wait to find out your results??

I had 198 questions!! i know how u feel i thinkg i might of have felt better if I had only 75...oh well still waiting for my results its been two days since i taken it and the bad part is is that i live in...cali..=\

I'm also in california as well, i've heard different from many people as to when their name shows up in the website, some after 2 days to up to 1 month...so it's not definite. im still going to check daily though only because it's driving me absolutely crazy!!....hey lemme know ur results...=) keeping my fingers crossed!

i just took the nclex last wednesday and finished in 4 hours with 198 questions...that test was nothing but difficult. i did not feel good at all coming out of the test center...most people on here finish with 75 and that kinda makes me worried, i know that the # of questions has nothing to do with it but im just so scared right now, i check the cal BRN site almost every 10 minutes!! im going insane with this waiting thing.... =(

I know exactly how you feel!!! i took the NCLEX-RN wednesday and i was just a total wreck!! i started having blurred vision and palpitations...it was just the worst experience of my life nothing in the world could really have prepared me for this Awful dreadful test they call nclex. uuuggghhh just a horrible feeling. i practically critical guessed on most of the questions and maybe 100% knew 10 or 15 of the questions and the worst part of it all was that I got 198!! i was expecting to get only 75 and every question after that was just the worst!! i felt so horrible, that test was unbelievably hard. =*( i cried forever after that...to make matters even worse i live in california and retrieving the results has no guaranteed date. well sorry buti just had to vent that out...crossing fingers!!!! good luck to u!!! let me know when u pass

Hi Suzzanne, would you have the slightest idea if the disaster/triage and herbal medicines are part of the 15 questions that thery are testing?? ~sp

Hi Suzzanne, Are u saying the one must get at least %50 of the questions right...say you got a 75 question exam you's have to get at least 37 righ to pass? ~sp

Thanks for the advise! im gonna make sure i look over some herbal supplements, ive heard a lot of people talking about seeing that in there test. Anyway let me know when you pass!!!!! ~sp

:) I'm almost positive you did just fine, just remember though that there are 15 questions they add in the test that does not count against you...so hang in there. bty I take mine on july 6!! any pointers?! ~sp

Just curious, so how long do you actually wait in between doses because that was my initially answer??
