NCLEX Blues

Nursing Students NCLEX

I just took nclex this am and if I had to bet my life I failed, I would. I got 125 questions and I missed the last question which was a level 1 question. So embarrassed that I won't even say what it was. So where do I go now? I took a review course and practiced questions every night. I'm so depressed. I felt like I forgot everything I knew during the test. I live in a state where we can not get our results via the web or by calling, so now its a waiting game. Any words of wisdom for what to do next????Pugs :crying2: :crying2:

I passed and I hope the rest of you did too. I really thought I failed. What a wild and crazy test.

Karen

because it was so incredibly easy and I looked it up and I missed it :crying2:

Took mine a couple of weeks ago. had 135 questions and passed. do not lose hope. I felt like a bumbling idiot when I left. I thought I had made a really bad career choice. It will all work out. I also live in a state that doesn't do early results. I feel your pain!!!! :)

Thanks Kimisu! You have given me a bit of hope. What state are you in? I thought we were the only sllooowwww one! Pugs

Tennessee. Let me know how you do

How do you know that you missed the last question?????

1. How do you determine the level of the question you're taking?

2. What do the levels mean?

3. How do you know you answered incorrectly?

Thanks for the help :) I've not heard of the this before.

I am not sure if you can tell definitely but the review class I went to said prioritizing and delegation questions were higher level while general knowledge based questions were lower level. The herbal questions are also considered higher level although I don't know why. :)Pugs

I am in the same boat...took 75 ?'s and really think I failed :( I have turned OCD as I check the web site every second. Well, if I failed I will pick myself up and take it again. Things could be worse...I have good health, a supportive spouse, and the chance to retake. Life is full of curve balls...guess we roll with the punches or drown in our own misery. I am literally going insane.

I took the NCLEX on June 2, I got 75 questions. I already have a LPN license so I knew I could check the state website under license verification, when I checked it on Friday June 3 it still only had my LPN license on there, but today when I checked it had my LPN license as it always has and it had a second box but under status it said "application in progress" and it also said "unapproved applicant", just wondering if anyone else had checked and gotten a message like that. So now I'm beginning to wonder if this means I failed or if the results and my license is just not final yet?????? Please help me out!!! I'm going crazy!!!

You pick yourself up and relax some way, some how.

And you wait for your results.

Best wishes.

ITA. Pugsweluv, I walked my mile in your shoes last week. I was so sure that I failed with 75 questions. The two days I waited for results to be posted on pearsonvue.com/nclex were almost sheer torture for me too. I picked myself up and relaxed by going to my favorite beach and my favorite restaurant for some conch fritters afterward. I spent time with my boys, ages 32 and 10. I posted here, directing best wishes toward all the others who were waiting and preparing for test taking. The distraction was so sweet, yet my anxiety didn't let up until I actually saw the results for myself.

Know this...Hardly anyone feels confident that they passed. Also, you will ride out this torrent of anxiety in your own unique way and will know The Answer to The Question soon. The days/hours are rough, but you will get there.

Hang in, sweetie. I'm sending positive energy your way!

Been there, done that, proudly own the T-shirt,

GNI1974,

I was just wondering when you took the test and what State are you from. Also, how long did it take to get your results? Thanks,

Hi! I had 75 questions and it took me two hours to complete. I tried to focus. I am from Florida and have been an LPN for about ten years. I took it on Tuesday the 31st of May and the results showed on Pearson the 2nd of June. My license was up on the boards web site Monday.

Good luck,

Dee

I took the test on June 1, it took one hour, and shut off at 75 questions. I found out the next day that I passed because my license was posted on our state nursing board web site in Arizona.
