NCLEX anxiety really bad. I want to cry.

Published

I am taking the NCLEX RN on Monday. I am really nervous and can't stop crying. I have studied for the past month and slept on my couch. I have been neglecting my family because of all this studying. If I don't pass on Monday, I think I might just give up trying. I have studied NCSBN, Kaplan 2014-2015 book, Yellow book, LaCharity, Hurst, and Exam Cram. What can I do to help with this anxiety?

I did the credit card trick and it stated that I failed. So, I am going to go through my couple of days of depression right now.

romioust did it made you pay for another 200$ the trick now you have to submit the credit card all the way and as far I heard its not 100% accurate stay positive please!!!!

Sorry I don't know how to respond ok this application but just listen take one day max two days to just collect your mind and get back on the horse don't waste time you have an idea of what the test was like so focus and study thru Kaplan and hurst and ncsbn

Hmahdoui, I accepted my $200 payment. At first, it kept saying my test was on hold on the night of the test. Then, a day later it processed my payment. FunnyNurse10, okay I will do.

[COLOR=#003366]romioust were you nervous during the exam? did you try to take your time and think about it like another practice exam?? Its ok you still can pass that exam!! don't give up!

romioust, I am so very sorry. I know it's depressing and heartbreaking. Take some time to grieve and regroup, just don't give up. You will become a RN it's just going to be a little bit later than you wanted. God has a plan for each of us. It will happen when the time is right so hold on to knowing you will become a RN this is just a little detour in getting there. If it's ok with you, I am going to add you on my prayer list of people to pray for to pass the NCLEX. I strongly believe prayer makes a difference. God bless you.

Nobody ever wants to fail the exam, but you are not the first and certainly will not be the last. Just take this as a learning lesson, if you are extremely stressed DO NOT take the exam. If time allows reschedule. Reach out to some of your classmates, maybe they can share with you what they used. Maybe make a plan to get with another student in your class who hasn't tested/failed and maybe you guys can throw facts at one another. Try any and all things to help you on the next go round.

It sounds a lot like you aren't taking enough breaks to do something else in between. You'll be fine! Good luck and take a few regular breaks and your brain might not get as stressed out

@ OP you are not alone, the stress of this test has taken over my entire life. It gives me headache now my body has started to hurt pain i never had in my life and i attribute it to the stress of this exam. Im testing again on Oct. 2, At this time I just put it in the hands of the creator to see me through.

I also remember, oh so long ago, that anxiety and fear. As someone used to say to me, "what's the worst that can happen?' Fear is deceptive. He clouds our thoughts with webs of lies. He tell us we are stupid. You are not stupid. You say you have been studying nonstop? Give yourself a treat. Go out and get and ice cream cone with your family. Look around you and witness the beauty of this wonderful season. Close your eyes and let the breeze that comes in Autumn, whisk across your face. Breathe in deep and let it out slow. Relax dear one. You will do well. You have learned well.

Put God first, he did not bring you this far to let you down. Breathe!
