Hi Everyone, I am a Liberal Arts student at NCC right now and interested in "Change of Program" to Nursing for Spring 2021. I have almost all the Pre-reqs done with 3.7 GPA. Only thing I worry about at this moment is the TEAS Exam. I did not take the TEAS yet and due to the COVID-19, there's no any test date available in my area. Do you guys know if they would consider my application without the TEAS? Please let me know if you know anything about this situation. Thank you

The NCC email. I’m gonna just finish my liberal arts degree and see after that. Over all these nursing programs at this point. Ridiculous all the hoops u have to jump through to become a nurse.

I know so many hoops! Meanwhile they need nurses! I don't understand! But yes that sounds like a solid plan to finish your liberal art degree and take it from there! You will become a nurse. Remember that.

I think we take an Empire history class first and then clinicals would start in the Fall but I already took that class in my undergrad & they said it would transfer over. So I’d hope I can go straight into clinicals. I guess we will find out when we have our zoom advisement call.

Did they send you a receipt of confirmation email when you confirmed your attendance?

I wish they would open up more seats in the program.
Also, as far as suggested pre requs go, they want you to have Eng101&102, HIS, stats, biomedical ethics, psych101, A&P1&2, lifespan dev., and microbio? Am I missing any?
