Navy NCP FY2016 Applicants

I noticed there wasn't one for the FY of 2016, and I start my package on Monday to be sent to the boards August 1st. (My recruiter told me the earlier the better). So same thing as the last thread, this will be an area to calm nerves and answer questions. Good luck to all who apply, or are thinking of applying! :up:

Please let me know as well, when this Facebook group has been formed. I am very excited about this new journey and to see how it's like on the OTHER side of the fence. :cheeky: (prior service) Can't wait to get to know more of you. :-)

Well I heard from my recruiter and I'm SELECTED! Paperwork is sent out after the 96 for veterans day.

I'm in, I'm in, I'm in!!! Just got the phone call this morning from my recruiter and it seems that happycoma was right. My recruiter said this was the official notice and I'll get an information packet about signing in, etc. next week after the holiday!

I seem to be having some technical difficulties with it but search it and add anything!

yes! ME, and it's driving me nuts. I just want to know yes or no.........I am not surprised about this though. This is how it was for me the entire six months through putting my kit together. My recruiter even took a one month LOA in July and didn't tell me. I ended up having to walk-in to the office and ask other recruiters what was going on. I have so many stories like this already so even without prior-service I am used to the waiting and the not knowing what's really going on. I am told that by Wednesday after the holiday I should hear the result from someone in the command...you all seem really awesome and I would love to join forces with you as a Navy nurse...

Hey, Freckles..., do you think it would be better if we made a group page rather than a community page? That way we can make the group private, etc. Maybe I'm mistaken & there's really not much of a difference. Nonetheless, I am excited for our new journey. :-)

So Freckles already made a group, it is named FY2016 Navy Nursing Candidate Program (NCP). However, due to how similar the name of the group and the page that she created before, it is going to be difficult to find. So in order to help, I send a few of you guys PMs with the direct link to the group. If you join the group, please assist your other candidates that are going to be accepted later finding the group.
