Navy NCP FY2016 Applicants

Hi!

I noticed there wasn't one for the FY of 2016, and I start my package on Monday to be sent to the boards August 1st. (My recruiter told me the earlier the better). So same thing as the last thread, this will be an area to calm nerves and answer questions. Good luck to all who apply, or are thinking of applying! :up:

I too just heard from my recruiter. I was selected!!!! If anyone is able to find out what the total number of selected applicants for fy 2016 is please post and let me know. Congratulations to everyone else the got good news and good luck to those still waiting to hear!!

Hi! I've been following this, but finally decided to join in the conversation. I graduate next December, and just found out that I got accepted!! I'm really excited, but was wondering if anyone knew if this was official. I just got a text from my recruiter, but thought I remember reading on here that almost everyone gets selected as a professional recommendation, but that doesn't necessarily mean we are officially selected for the program. What have people been hearing from their recruiters? I'm afraid to get my hopes up yet. Thanks! And congrats to everyone.

Don't quote me on this but I believe the recommendation happens prior to the actual board. I think the results we got today are official and would be devastated if I found out they were not! Congrats to everyone that has been selected! Hope to be hearing good news from more people as well.

i tried looking with no luck, plus all the links I clicked on were blocked----I know the suspense is so incredibly intense right now!

Congrats on getting selected. After the results are finalized and when you guys swear in sometime in May, I will be sending out facebook invites for the Nurse Candidate Group. There is already 1 FY16 in our group that was selected with the FY15 bunch. Best wishes to those you haven't heard back yet! You will probably need to wait until Monday to hear back.

I hope no news is good news. I haven't heard anything from my recruiter. I know it's just the professional recommendation and not the official results, but having to wait until Monday? Ugh!

Don't Tread on Me---so how long does it take from now until the results are finalized? at least in your experience.....
